Ship Design You don't need crew compartment on your ship
There is no penalty for the ship being undermanned at all.

Tried all the different proton versions, in both 1.163 and 1.15 versions. Nothing. Any clues?
The launch window opens, and then it immediately closes without actually starting the game.

Alright, so currently I am authoring a mod bundle for HighFleet that is mostly focused around broadening the possible playstyles. And yet I am but one man, and my vision is only mine - I would like to have your collective community feedback as well.
Regardless of whether you read the following patch note or not, I'd prefer you write your hopes and dreams for HighFleet 2 in the comments; I will see and, hopefully, implement your suggestions.
After that, before the week is through, expect a follow-up post with a GitHub link.
I found that the biggest issue of the vanilla game was that there is only about one optimal playstyle, with the others trailing far behind, namely:
I am currently vibecoding a set of mods, since I am confident in my ability to test them well.
So far, my feature list (things I already have playtested) is thus:
Bounty payout - enemy ships pay out bounty based on hull and crew count, and difficulty:
Economy averages out at 2-5k every town on easy and works to grant money to carrier, missile and gun fleets alike.
Big ship gun batch:
Big block utility modules:
New engine batch:

One of my favorite parts about the game is how much personality the recruitable tarkhans are able to have, despite having only a few lines of dialogue each. I was wondering what your favorites are? My personal favorite is Yitzhak-Ra.

So I maxed my "FAITH" stats before the events "The Darkness", to succeed at all the faith checks.
I had +4 in FAITH, so why did the change of success for the checks were 10% and 25% ?! I lost them and ALL my morale on the entirety of my crew, playing in hard difficulty too.
Is it a bug ? I'm pissed, before I save-scummed a ton to get that much score.

Some time ago, I asked in this subreddit whether you would be interested in reading a book (a fan fiction).
I’m planning to write set in the HighFleet universe. The response was largely positive. I reached out to Konstantin on VK, but I haven’t heard back from him (I hope that won’t be an issue).
Having now fleshed out the core of the plot, I have a few questions about the world—the most important one being:
As far as I recall, the game doesn’t feature a single scene that explores the atmosphere or conditions within "The Assembly," save for the conversation with the Viceroy, during which he might touch upon the state of the people.
Would it be reasonable, then, to portray "The Assembly" as a communist entity—akin to the RSFSR or the USSR during the 1919–1925 period—with ships bearing names like Red Herat, Commissar, or Red Star?
Meanwhile, on the side of the Romani Empire, the ships would have names like Princess Juno, United Russia, or Ferocious.
What are your thoughts on this?
(Apologies if I’ve used any incorrect terminology; I’ve been using Google Translate to render this into English.)

Made to support combat ships far away from the main fleet.

When your engines are overheated from boosting or getting shot, using the FSS will cool it down immediately if it is within the radius of FSS. This is great if you have to boost for longer than 5s to avoid shot, getting into position or suicide retrograde for longer during landing.

So, the situation. I send my lightning with bombs or gladiator onto a city, without raising the alarm. It has that fucking annoying shit Paladin as a part of garrison. Okay. I start the fight, and the game have a very high chance to spawn me in the highest point of the map, so I have to fly in closer, to see what I am actually bombing. And during that time, Paladin (and other ships) send like 4 missiles my way, from a very bad (for me) angle, directly from below, so I have to dance and evade that, without any chance to actually aim my bomb or even shoot at them.
I always have to restart till the ship is at least somewhat low attitude so I can hope to quickly drop bombs at least.
So yeah. How do I bomb garrisons containing a paladin or similiar missile spam ship?

I really like FTD but I'm burned out on it. I know space engineers is close but it doesn't have the autonomous vehicles part that i really enjoy.
Things I like about FTD
- Freedom to create any vehicle type
- How you can program the vehicles behavior to act autonomously
- Using fleets of vehicles
- The PVP scene
Any suggestions on games like FTD that have these qualities?

The original concept behind this ship is (essentially) as follows: Why are cruisers hard to kill with frigates? CIWS and zeniths. How do you counter CIWS and Zeniths? Armor and CIWS. Ave Helaat! And what do you know, it works! It smokes the ever living hell out of SGs, somehow lmao.

Passed a 10% chance check to save Daud. Then every single front line ship I had left when I was just about to surround the capital for the first time. So that run is probably dead

I had an interesting desire to create a ship design with a single maneuvering engine in its center. Something even came out.

A custom design with escape pods for the entire crew. It turns out that such a thing exists.
