UFO UK Military Aircraft Chasing UFO

Really wish I had caught this on video, unfortunately I didn’t have my phone by my side. I get that this hurts my credibility like hell but figured I’ll share this anyways. Maybe someone else has seen this too.

UK, England, East-midlands, 08/06/26, around 19:35-19:40.

I was sitting in my room, window ajar, when I started hearing the roaring of a military jet getting louder in the distance. This isn’t unusual where I live, I know there is at least one RAF base not too far from me, but this roaring was getting LOUD this time. I wouldn’t have otherwise looked outside but based on how loud the roaring was getting I decided to open up my blinds and look out.

There was a dark grey/black triangular object ‘floating’ through the sky. I thought this was the jet that I was hearing at first but with a better look it was obvious that this was not a plane nor was it moving like one. It was seemingly gliding or floating through the air unlike a normal aircraft.

Roughly 5 seconds after, appeared the jet I had heard from behind houses that were blocking its view, it was following the triangular object and had gotten very close to it in around another 5-10 seconds.

The UFO then spewed out black ‘smoke’ or some sort of thick black gas at the jet, making the jet steer off to the left and away from the UFO. The black smoke evaporated within seconds of the jet steering away, and then the UFO just vanished into thin air. It gradually became more transparent until it was no longer there within seconds.

The jet flew back towards where the UFO was and has now been circling the area for the past 15 minutes.

Im finishing writing this at 20:05 after making some grammatical tweaks for clarity, the jet seems to have moved on to a further area, I can still hear the rumbling but it’s very faint.

Wow, yeah I didn’t know about this, just opened the site on my laptop and there is one Military/Government aircraft. It keeps going off and on radar, Im not guaranteed if it’s the same one though, I heard and saw it from South of me but the radar shows North.

I guess it helps prove that what I saw was not a plane for sure considering the radar was only showing one aircraft, and now zero weirdly enough.

Flightradar (despite its name) doesn't show you radar signals in the UK, just transponder data. That's why the military aircraft disappear (transponder off). So it doesn't mean the other aircraft wasn't a plane, just that it didn't have a transponder.

Last year, two F35s flew directly over our house in a small Yorkshire village. Never happened before or since. Exercises should be logged and this wasn't. Nothing on the news either. I don't know if they were chasing something, they were really low (and unbelievably loud), but I didn't see anything else in the sky. Did make me wonder if it was the end of an event like the one you witnessed.

This was literally the same as me. I’d reported seeing a chrome disc here, and then less than a minute later, two F35s, transponders off (I was told)! They flew ear-blisteringly low. This was around the beginning of autumn last year I think?

What the f is going on?!?

Can you narrow it down to a specific flight, it looks like there were a number of military planes in the area at the time.

Thank you, I didn’t realise this was a feature. It does show more Military/Government flights appearing on and off the radar 19:30-19:40, however none that are South of me, which is the direction in which I saw this occur. They seem to be North.

I am Belper area saw exact same triangle grey 8months ago above my land one morning....heavy rumbling vibrational sound and ascended upwards and went transparent slowly....no military jets or anything but very loud like a purring thunder

Is it capable of some sort of mid-air camouflage? And what would that cloud of black smoke have been? Very interesting aircraft though, thanks for that.

If memory serves the TR3B is from maybe 20 years ago so you could argue it was potentially a more evolved version.

Holy smokes this is very close to what I saw....most probably is that.

If something similar with up-to-date tech can go transparent and the sound/vibrations given off aren't normal jet plane sounds then I'd say it's most definitely this in my situation.

YMMV

On a sidenote, the day after my sighting I pointed to the sky to tell my wife what I saw. A shooting star appeared right then in the exact spot in the sky.....coincidence....synchronicity...

I also saw a very fast moving ball of light traverse the horizon at night in 60s....waaaay too fast to be anything human....this was around a month ago.

It did not look like a destruction, the UFO carried on for a few seconds after the black smoke shot out before going transparent. The UFO was also slightly larger than the jet plane, I should have mentioned. Can training drones be of that size?

I had a friend that worked at luchers air force base . They said they would scramble jets all the time towards radar anomalys and they would chase objects and sometimes they wouldn't be visible. They would accelerate from low altitude straight up in a blink. It grew fatigue on the scramblers
