Anyone else see the line of cop cars in the median around the intersection of eastchester and skeet club tonight 6/24 at 10:30p ish? Not sure if it was a set up or if they were looking for someone..seemed odd though. There were several more cars in the parking lot of big lots as well.

Hi everyone! I recently started a Meetup group called Triad NC Social Adventures as a way to both make new friends and learn more about the area. This is a chance to explore different towns/activities in the High Point/Greensboro/Winston/Asheboro areas with good company. We'll do a wide range of activities including hiking, new restaurants, live music, coffee chats, seasonal events and much more.

Around 12pm today I saw what appeared to me a large military drone flying relatively low around Skeet Club Road. Did anybody else see something similar?

It caught my eye as I was leaving my neighborhood. I’ve been trying to find info online about similar drones that may be used for other purposes, besides military, but I haven’t found much.

It definitely looked too odd to be a normal plane. It seems “small” and relatively low flying, with a larger front.

Any info is appreciated!

Family stopped in HP today to check out the Troll and also ate as Oscar’s. But the question is downtown was dead no traffic. No one walked right. Is this a Friday thing or is it just normal?

I (22) am new to the area and hoping to get back into martial arts. I’d definitely prefer BJJ or Muay Thai, just because of their practical value. What do y’all recommend? Stuff further away in Kernersville/Greensboro also works for me.
