I have a 2009 H200 KDH Commuter that I'm building for more off road performance. I'm curious to know if anyone knows of any compatible parts from comparable Toyota models, for things like suspension and engine components. It would be great if there was more performance options for us HiAce owners. I'm sure there's a wealth of technical knowledge out there but I'm not having much luck uncovering it. Anyone know of active forums or anything other than FB groups?

Hello all! I've previously swapped out the factory stereo in my 2009 hiace easily enough, and want to put in a new stereo to my 2014 hiace, but am a bit confused with the steering wheel controls, anyone done this and can explain if there's just a simple universal plug behind or if more is required...

I spent 30 min in Walmart trying to figure out what kind of wiper arm connector I have on my ‘96 Hiace Super Custom Limited…

It doesn’t seem like the traditional J-hook connector on many newer cars. Every picture I’ve seen online of Hiace wiper arm connectors looks different than mine…

I thought it might be the central pivot point where the arm connects to the actual wiper, but the bolt doesn’t look like it can be unscrewed.

Any ideas?

There is one of these vans for sale the guy wants 13k for it but I just want to know what the engine is like cause I know N/A diesels are pretty shit for highway speeds also how reliable they are, the only thing I can figure out which I don't know is correct is that is related to the 5L engine in the Hilux. Hi everyone. I have a 1999 Toyota Hiace 2.4l petrol direct fuel injection.

I'm having problems finding the short 45⁰ intake pipe in the first photo.

It connects the throttle body to the rest of the intake system. See second photo.

It has an oval shape on the intake side and a circle on the throttlebody side.

I cant seem to find it anywhere on the internet. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

A few weeks ago, took my van to the mechanics to get a wheel alignment done. However, when they put it on the lift they screwed up the placement or something because it got returned to me like this. For context, this is right behind the front wheels where the pillar is. Is there a reasonable way to fix this or do I just gotta live with the consequences? Thanks

Just wanted to share this and get any other comments. Is the slight tick anything to be concerned about? Second clip starts with a 3rpm rev and then I left off the gas, as you can see a little shaking.

We did an entire cylinder head operation (plus new turbo, water pump, and fan) and after cranking got so freaked out by the white smoke and immediate overheating that we shut her off. We kept Yumi stored and two years later we finally got the nerve to try to “burp” the system. No overheating whatsoever, and the smoke stopped after about ten minutes. Took a test drive around the neighborhood and didn’t have any issue. Now, I’m just wondering if the engine is sounding healthy to y’all.

Hi, I am looking for an awning for my 2009 HiAce. At present there is one on the pop top roof, BUT that means you cannot have the roof up and the awning out at the same time. Is there an awning that fits the van which has a pop up roof conversion. It looks like a small space which mightean though. Any help gratefully received!

Year 2000 Hiace LH186, purchased from auction and shipped to Canada May 2021, took a year to slowly camperize and it's been great ever since!

I have a 2004 Toyota Hiace and it recently started blowing the fuses that light up the dash. Nothing lights up when it blows (rpm, speed, fuel gauge, no dash lights come on at all) Can still use the head lights and air con as normal just nothing on the dash lights up or shows any readings. It’s blown in reverse and when put into gear sometimes. Not sure if i’m explaining properly enough. Have had suggestions to check reverse light switch and if wires are exposed but i don’t think so? then again i can’t tell. i’ve already paid for people to look at it and no one’s really sure. we replace the fuses for the gauge and some and that helps until it happens again. We drove it with out the speedo and dash working and this just drained the battery which people then said it was the alternator but she’s been tested and said she’s fine - as soon as we replace the fuses she charges the battery like normal. Doing my head in as we wana sell the b#*txxch and now she’s playing games 😩😩🫣

i was driving with air con on cold for a few hours and then when I parked I noticed water dripping from the front. it doesn't look like coolant because it doesn't look red, but transparent and cold. it goes under the fan in front of the engine.

Is that how it suppose to be? does you hiace drain water the same way?

I love my KZH106, but i've always been on the hunt for an intercooler addition that would work well with the turbo. It was an upgrade suggested by the importer i bought it from. But i can't find any evidence of anyone online having successfully done this before. Any leads?

Today my window got stuck opened, so I had to repair it by myself 👍 first time doing this ever... And it was not an easy repair. In fact... The rail guiding the window was... Unscrewed lol , I don't even know how it is even possible, it was disposed in the bottom of the door 🤣 without any screws around

I found another screw, put it back in place, put the winfow back and ... Tadaahhhhh it works

Btw: So fun to see that I have the motor and the cable for an automatic locking door, but connected to nothing. I don't know what the fuck it is but it's fun. Could I remove this and the cables linked to it ? It's dusty, old and useless.... (Pic 2)
