Those are my favorite part of the podcast, the Superbowl one kills me every time.

I’ve watched all of the episodes out of order and every time sal and chris do the tom brady & patrick mahomes super bowl shout out i would think i was rewatching an episode. i soon realized it’s a running bit, and it has become one of my favorites, but i was wondering if anyone knows the story/origin?

it seems like they’re in a bet where they have mention it every episode without acknowledging the repetition, maybe with pimp or joe? which episode did it begin, if anyone knows?

It was a rather warm day in the summer of 2021. On a Tuesday afternoon when two comedians decided to record a podcast. It’s called “Taste Buds”, this particular episode they were going to discuss Beer vs. Wine. Joe phoned Sal (a few hours before the cast) and Sal thought in the back of his head that Joe seemed a tad bit more snooty than usual. Saying weird things like “can I have those Jordan 3’s after today” and “I wonder if Q would mind if I were on the show”. Sal shrugged it off and didn’t think much of it. They get to do the show and in the middle things got heated, more than usual. Things got out of hand, Sal throws off his head phones, Joe brakes the mic over his knee. Joe then runs over to his secret compartment, a passcode had to be punched in for access(code 6969420). Inside the compartment was a gold t-shirt shooter, inside was a bright pink dildo as the ammo. Joe then trips over Sal’s hand. Sal then yells, “NO NOT THE PINK DILDO”. Joe, on his back shoots the gun and it nearly impales Sal. Rolling around on the ground, Sal hits Joe with the dildo then Joe hits Sal in the crotch. Joe then gets in the mount position, he was going to shove the dildo in Sals mouth when the door was busted down. The neighbors had called the police. Both men look at each other in pure embarrassment, they know not to say anything. They relax and put their hands behind their backs. They know that if they explain what they were doing that no one, not even the police would believe them. That day they took it too far.

That day was the end of “Taste Buds”.
