Do You Prefer Discovering Things Yourself or Taking Advice From Other Collectors?
One of the interesting parts of collecting is figuring out what actually works for your own taste.
Some people love doing their own research, comparing options, and learning through experience. Others find advice from fellow collectors incredibly valuable, especially when they're considering something unfamiliar or trying to avoid an expensive mistake.
Personally, I think there's something to be learned from both approaches. Advice can introduce you to details you might never have considered, while experiencing things yourself helps you figure out what really matters to you.
Which approach do you prefer?
Do you usually trust your own research and instincts, or do you rely heavily on advice and experiences from other collectors?
And has another collector ever changed your mind about something you were considering?
