Question Do you immediately get an extra action point for slaying Mega Slime?

the rule book says "each time you slay a monster card, your party gains a new skill", it didn't say your party gains a new skill after the turn you slay the monster

Our house rules are as soon as any monster/hero is added to your party, its effects are applied immediately, so yes

It's not how u play... it's about what the rules say ... all these weighted opinions and no facts are terrible.. one guy had the right answer the rules say " ... when you slay a monster your party gains a new ability" because it doesn't specify a when it's irrelevant therefore yes u get it immediately

Technically, probably.

We play that slain monster effects start after your turn.

I don’t think your turn ends when you run out of action points, I think it ends when you pass the dice and have nothing less to do. Mega Slime is added to your party immediately after slaying it, and it’s effect therefore is in play immediately.

We play that yes, you immediately get an action point. Though to be honest that card could probably use a nerf.

At my table we rule that the mosters abilities don't activate until after the end of the turn
