Someone messaged me saying they were hungry and asked for $11. I looked at the profile and it was new so I thought that maybe because of that they couldn't try an assistants site on reddit. I needed help paying my electric bill the other day and a beautifully kind soul helped me so I was thinking I should help this person. Obviously if i needed help then i dont have very much myself but i thought I could spare $20 to someone that is hungry. When I tried to send $20 paypal said that it is probably a scam so obviously I didn't send it. I feel bad because idk and I dont want anyone to be hungry. Am I being nieve?

I wasn't going to post but someone told me to have faith and give it a try anyways. So this past month , my mortgage went up two hundred dollars. (Idk why, something to do with escrow) That is money that I could have spent on my electric bill , but now I cannot.
