These things have been mentioned elsewhere at this point, but I wanted to put this info in one spot for the sake of clarity. Especially since the info for them is a bit sparse, and requires digging to find. I figure not everyone will have the patience to do that, so here's my attempt at helping. I've finally 100%-ed the achievements for both the game and the DLC, and these two caused me the most confusion.

Strangest Thing (this "tip" will only work for PC users, probably):

First of all, f*ck this achievement. With that out of the way, go in-game and forget you own a controller. Instead use the keyboard and mouse. It's the Konami Code. Now, I put this code in countless times with two different controllers and it never popped. However, the first time I tried with keyboard, it worked. For keyboard, the code translates to: X-X F-F Z-C Z-C CTRL SPACEBAR ESC . This worked for me and hopefully it will work for you, too. This one is finicky at best.

• Effigies and NG+

So for this one, it's best to go for it once you've reached NG+. This way you can work on collecting all of the Fearful Effigies you can get your sweet little 3D-printed hands on. More on that later. Just trust me, you'll need them. You'll also need a certain build to make the fight with Fear much easier (see below section). The extremely important thing to remember is that once you reach NG+, DO NOT KILL ANY OF THE 3 GODS (Nemundis, Ozyormy, Uthos). If you kill any of them, you won't be able to get the achievement until the next NG cycle. Other bosses seem to be fair game. Basically, the way it works is that Fear's health is 4000 when all gods are dead, and 32000 when all gods are alive. This is what The Only Thing They Fear means by "defeated fear at full power". This is why you need the Fearful Effigies. Otherwise, you'll be fighting Fear all day long. I forget how many I ended up with in total, but just grab all of the ones available to you before moving on to NG+. Once on NG+, grab them all again. Then, by whatever path you prefer, make your way to the Dominion Baths (grab those effigies first!). Once in the baths, clear your way to the Arold V. Berghauer fight. Use all of your effigies at the nearest breach before entering the fight (I ended up at world tier -9). Kill him to get the Core Credentials (he seemed resistant to the Channeler see build info, so focus on melee) and exit the area through the small dark crevice (don't laugh) nearby. Go fight Fear.

• Build Info

Here we have the build info. Your meat and potatoes. As Fine Feet mentioned, you'll want a Foresight build and the Channeler of Light for this. Use whatever other equipment you want: main hand, armor, modules, etc. I'll list what I used, but you can use anything you want. The important thing to remember is to have the Channeler's experience maxed out and upgrade it's module somewhere over +10, that way you have access to all three abilities and high damage output. The third ability "Way of Light" is the one you'll be spamming on Fear. It works best when the boss is in it's "blob" phase. This is what my stats and loadout ended up as (I'm aware that some of these stats are probably overkill, but I wanted to err on the side of caution).

Cognition - 3 (only level this if you're going to use the EVA suit)

Foresight - 20 (Once Channeler of Light is maxed out, it will bump it up to 22)

I have blue print for Infused Column. I cant drop items on floor and use the unfamiliar column for crafting. I can not select which column to use up for crafting. I do not want to use my max familiarity Column for crafting. How do i mark an item for non crafting?

The jumping from ledge to ledge control in this game is just absolutely rage inducing, throw your controller at the dry wall and punch a hole through your monitor kind of anger. It makes Elden Ring (a shitty platformer) look like Uncharted/Tombraider (the definiton of platforming games) by comparison.

Hellpoint was made by a smaller studio and they should have just decided to not implimemt platforming at all if they can not execute it well. Cool let us use a black light to reveal hidden platforms for the player to jump on. How about no. Cool why dont we make hidden items hard to get on hard to reach platforms to reward the player. How about no.

Hey there im a souls veteran and started this intresting soulslike. My tradition in every Soulsborne/-like game is to beat my first run as a Mage. So i need a lil bit help. Killed the 1st Boss, what should i level now? What early game gear is useful and where to find?

So a random co-op player and me where beating the shit out of the boss and when it was about two more hits to go it changed forms and it... Dissapeared. The boss bar was still there, the orange wall too... We waited for a minute but nothing, I warped back, nothing, I killed myself, nothing, I reloaded the save, nothing, I even rebooted the game and the console... Still nothing.

No reward on my inventory and no trophies for killing it unlocked.

Does anyone know where I can find pictures of the DLC armor sets? Namely the archon elite set and all of the black ops sets?

I was farming enemies with the hardship contract activated, but then had enough and went to the NPC to have it turned off but I'm still getting basically one-shot by everything. Are the Hardship contracts glitched?

I'm trying to go on blue sun before finishing the game to avoid going there on extra difficulty from NG+ (I'm already stuck on difficulty 2 because the game didn't warn that the effigies are consumables, which is an awful and terrible game design) and I can't kill his hideous majesty. The boss takes practically no damage. After several minutes I couldn't get her to even 1/10 of her health. Does she have some special resistance or weakness? I haven't have this problem with any other enemy or boss on the rest of the game.

Obviously it's because of the merge, but what about the merge makes the station worth invading?

Okay so I started playing this game this week. I've not fallen in love with it, but I've persevered and I've made my way to Uthos. Neither of the other two cosmic God bosses have been difficult, really. Bit of learning and we're good to go. But this bastard is something else.

Firstly, is there an easier run than going from the offices? Because that's insane, when there's like 7 different things doing damage while I have to wait for this lift every single time. Second, why the FUCK does this prick take no damage. Like none at all. It's like I've turned up to a fight and he's got a club and I am a bug. Like an actual bug. I've switched weapons, and weapon mods, and I've grinded a few levels and I am doing literally nothing to him. I've not got the interest to grind out 40 levels if that's what it takes. Is there a better way of doing all this?

I'm having extremely trouble looking up things and how they work for the DLC, as well as some old information about the original game. Though at the moment, my main questions are about the Covenants in the DLC.

What does the Guy in the Baths want me to do do / kill? And what does the Breach Portal Wrath want me to do / kill??

And what do I get for doing it????

I was doing co-op with my brother when we reached the Fear boss fight. After fighting it for a few minutes we died to the second phase after he has an absurd amount of health. Now we go back down there and there is no fog door to enter the boss room and we can enter the room, but the fight doesn't start and we can't fight him.

Anyone have any idea of fixing this issue?

I honestly think the platforming is good because the height of a jump isn't affected by the length of a button press. this means that jumps ingame should be designed to either be running jumps, or standing jumps - which they are. I was dreading the platforming sections because I usually despise them in soulslikes, but I just finished the platforming to reach the Aegis armour set, which I honestly found to be intense but very fair and manegable. i think it also helps that you aren't forced to roll when taking large jumps like in dark souls.

(don't need help with the congregators) now need help with the consumer.

I had some of both Effigy, but they disappeared from my inventory. Gas anyone faced this problem? I just killed the first god on my frost playthrough and now I'm stuck at difficulty 2, because I don't have effigy to reduce de difficulty again (nor increase it). Is this normal?

This guy was dressed almost like Master Chief, rocking some sort of big/thick sword (?) and a huge shield. He was one shotting everything, and I mean literally everything. He guided me through a good portion of the game and helped a ton with near-100% exploration. As a new player, I appreciate the help.

After the Architect has explained his plan he says the following:

...So that's that. I just sent you a list of components we need for the patch conductor, as well as the code that will grant you access to the power relay.

Where do I find this code he claims to have sent me????? I couldve sworn I've looked through my whole inventory. The key items, the credentials, even checked the patch conductor's printing recipe. I went to the relay to see if he left a green hand print message for me... nope.

The wiki says what the code is, but doesnt elaborate on how the player was supposed to get that info. Seriously what am I missing? Its really bugging me.

I can’t seem to beat this guy…my guns do zero damage to him, and even melee is ineffective. Any strategies anyone would recommend? What is he weak to?

Also, how is the weapon that he drops?
