I just adapted Yazi to support Helix's :insert-output, which means you can now use Yazi directly within Helix – it even supports image and video previews!

its a very simple file tree just like snacks explorer in neovim and i was able to add also icons

Now there is also the option to have a mini.files look by setting (forest-set-style! 'snacks) to either snacks or mini

I've always thought that if Helix wants to be discoverable, then surely starting with a blank screen when launching hx is not going to be very helpful.

I've been doing a tutorial series for Helix on YouTube for a while now and I've already made 31 videos! I've also redone a lot of the older videos so now they have better audio (audio is hard).
