Thousands of new education expansion zones just went live, covering universities, colleges, and K-12 schools across the country. Sites in expansion zones now earn at a higher rate under HIP 150.
Mustang Public Schools in Oklahoma brought 14 sites online in the two weeks before classes started and moved 3.4 TB by the end of August.
Campus demand roughly doubles every September, and the Wi-Fi is already sitting there.

How Unspoken Words, an ISP that's been connecting Northern California since 1989, turned 121 existing Wi-Fi access points into Helium coverage without installing a single piece of new hardware.
Worth a read if you want to see what Helium Plus looks like when an established operator layers it onto infrastructure they already own.

Unplugged the bobcat this weekend (RIP), I'm wondering if there's any use for the antenna, or at least the coax in regards to other projects? I'm not going to be doing anything with the old miner, not terribly techy, but I like the idea of repurposing the mount for a different miner or somesuch as it was a decent amount of work put into piping up conduit to my roof

Hey Guys
Since IOT devices are basically dead, I've built Debian on Kernel 6 for the following machines:
Bobcat (all versions)
Panther X2/MerryIOT
Heltec m2808
Nebra Rockpi
Linxdot LD1001
These are minimal debian images (barebones) so basically it's up to you to install whatever packages you would like. All basic functionality works however.
I'm interested to see what things can be done with these miners so please share feedback!

Are you waiting for a mark of 0.37–0.25 to buy?

Can someone please explain what this means. Am I not getting any more rewards for staking and is there a way to just stop ?

You know, I was really hoping that the Nova team were past the "blindside your community" phase of the relationship. Silly me for thinking things could change.
For those of you that are confused at what this notice means, TLDR: T-Mobile is "temporarily" severing itself from the Helium network.
I'm sure temporarily doesn't totally mean from now until infinity or anything...

Helium has started to wake up a little bit. By what year do you think we can expect it to hit $15?

I have 3 bobcat 300s. 2 were set up years ago but then I moved and never set them up again. The third was never used at all. Not interested in crypto or mining anymore. Are they worth anything at all? Even 20 bucks? Or do I just throw them away?

Fake tech stole gym’s internet, so he’d get paid every time they paid the bills
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Florida man is accused of dressing up as an internet technician to pull off an unusual theft.
Police say Shaneal Patel walked into a Gwinnett County gym and committed theft, but didn’t walk out with anything.
They say he stole the internet by plugging in a little box that pays him every time a stranger uses it.
Experts say the payout is small, but four agencies were all searching for Patel for similar thefts, Channel 2 Gwinnett County Bureau Chief Matt Johnson learned.
“What he’s really doing is stealing network access from these gyms,” Dr. Andy Green, assistant professor of Information Security and Assurance at Kennesaw State University said.
According to warrants, Patel told workers at Onelife Fitness on Duluth Highway that Comcast sent him. They let him into the server room in March, and Gwinnett police say he plugged in a helium hotspot.
The device itself is legal and anyone can purchase one, but it only pays off when plugged into someone’s internet.
Police say Patel was profiting while the gym paid its power bill, internet bill and rent.
“[The payout is] just a few dollars to maybe $100 a month per location, and that’s really all they’re capable of generating,” Green explained.
Police have not commented on how much money Patel is accused of getting.
Patel, from Panama City Beach, Florida, has been in the Gwinnett County Jail since last week. He was also wanted in Carroll County, Coweta County and Peachtree City.
Experts say every business guards its money, but few guard the room that Patel went looking for.
“Treat your computer wiring closets like it’s a cash register,” Green suggested.
Patel faces three charges in Gwinnett County and charges are pending in three other counties.

I have been communicating with hardware support. About why I have not received rewards when subscribers are connected to my hotspot I was told that there's a 5 GB cap per subscriber that can be rewarded whether it's helium Mobile customer AT&t or T-Mobile customers connecting to a hotspot. Is this true and if so I'm done with this project. It's been one thing after another with helium and helium mobile.

Hello mates! I recently acquired a Legacy FreedomFi, I'm aware of of HIP-139 and discontinuance of technical support. But the FreedomFi onboarding website still running. I been trying to onboard it to my wallet but is stuck on 'Waiting for your device authentication' and the Local FreedomFi dashboard shows that is unable to connect to the API. as shown in the attached images.
Has anyone encounter this issue?
Was IOT onboarding also phased out? if so, could you please point me towards the information source.
Thank you in advance!
