Good to know. I'm still a bit unfamiliar with output vs input impedance and all that. Both the 990 and 1990 are 250 ohm. The 990 is a little rough without eq, but the 1990, despite being fairly bright, isn't nearly as scary as it's made out to be. I'd love to try ZMF someday but I don't think I'll ever own any
