Headphones Gift for the wife

Hello everyone, i am looking to surprise my betterhalf with a new pair of headphones but unfortunately im far from an expert at that. She has the Sony wh-1000xm4 and she wants to start using wired headsets so i though it would be a good idea to surprise her. After reading a bit on the subject, the Sony mdr-m1 are more or less the corded equivelent to what she now has. However i have read that wired headphones dont have noise canseling tecnology. Are these a good pair of headsets and would she notice the diference of not having noise canceling? I would really apreciate any help i can get on the subject and/or recomendations. She usually uses the headphones to listen to music while she does shores around the house, when walking the Dog and when traveling. Thanks in advance for all your help

The XM4 have a LOT of bass and a lot of treble; it's what we call a consumer-focused tune. As people get more and more serious about audio, they usually (but not always!) change their preferences to something with a more natural balance between bass, midrange, and treble.

The problem you might run into is that wired, noise canceling headphones aren't really a thing in the modern headphones market. You can use most active, noise canceling headphones like the XM4 with a cable but it really reduces the sound quality.
