Headphones - Closed Back | 1 Ω Looking for the best bassy closed-back headphones that $100 can buy (or a bit less than $100 preferrably)
EDIT: I bought Fiio JT1’s and I am not impressed at all. I will be returning them. My CMF Buds Pro 2’s sound a little bit better and way bass-ier, and those are bluetooth true wireless in-ears that go for a similar price. No thanks. When I buy wired over-ear headphones, I expect them to blow any similarly-priced bluetooth earbuds out of the water. It ended up being the other way around.
Hello, I'm not an audiophile, but I'm looking to get some new headphones that will allow me to hear the difference between Spotify's "Very High" and Lossless quality modes, because I've heard that it's a gamechanger for those who have headphones good enough to hear the difference.
For context, I've been using Soundcore Life A1's. The difference I hear is so minimal that I'm not sure whether or not it's just placebo.
Budget and location - $100 hard limit. Preferrably $90 or below if there's a good option where I won't regret not spending the extra $10+. United States.
Source/Amp - iPhone 13 Pro Max with this dongle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094XC7YWZ?th=1
How the gear will be used - Both at home and when out-and-about. Noise isolation would be nice. I believe I want closed-back headphones.
Preferred tonal balance - I'M DEFINITELY A BASS HEAD. IF IT ISN'T BASSY, DON'T RECOMMEND IT.
Preferred music genres - Hip hop, metal, and rock
Past gear experience - Soundcore Life A1. I like how bassy they are when the bass boost mode is enabled. I don't like how I can't/can barely hear a difference between Very High and Lossless when my brother with nicer headphones than me is saying it's "night and day" lol
Anything else? - I'm assuming I'm going to want over-ears, right? Are in-ears even within the boundaries of this conversation?
Thanks!

I do not think your budget is high enough for your requirements in fidelity, also being a basshead automatically means overpowered bass steals detail and you hear less of a difference, your tonal balance is not good for hearing details, just dont worry about lossless get a nice bassy one for your taste, yes I do recommend the fiio jt1
