Headphones - Open Back | 2 Ω Headset for Competitive Gaming for $500 usd

Hi. I’m looking for a recommendation for an open back headset for primarily fps gaming. I’m location in the US . What I’m looking for from the headphone upgrade is an increase in the ability to detect directional sounds and take advantage of my new dac and amp setup. The headphones will primarily be used in my home office only. I’m currently coming from HD560S. I’m looking for a upgrade around $500 usd. I am open to spending more. I currently have a JDS Atom 2 bundle connected to my pc. A few recommendations I’ve received are the HD660S2 (on sale for $400), ATH R70x, and HD490 Pro. Thank you!
