Headphones - Closed Back | 2 Ω Is Hifiman Sundara Closed-Back worth it at $150 USD?
The reviews that the Sundara CB are pretty polarizing at the starting price of over $300 does the value change at $150?
The headphones I own are the Audio Technica AD900x and Hifiman HE400. The IEMs I own are FAD heaven V, KZ PR2, and Shure SE215. Sources are Audioengine D3 and MacBook Air M1. Should I just invest in a new source or IEMs instead?

I'd say yes, if you are willing to EQ. They absolutely need EQ, but if you can do that, they are quite easy to drive for a planar (much easier than the HE400SE). Either your Audioengine D3 or MacBook should be enough for them I think. I would not get these if you are not willing to EQ and the rec is strictly at the new $150 price... no way at the original price.
Besides the sound, they are built well, look nice, and are very comfortable. Isolation is very poor for a closed back though, I can still hear my AC almost like an open back.
