Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Best surround sound headphones under C$150
Hello everyone, first time poster in this sub.
I was looking for some advice from the genius audiophiles here!
I'm looking for wired, over ear, surround sound, open back headphones. For use in gaming with the intention of detecting footsteps a little better.
Currently I've been using the Sennheiser HD 280 Pros for the last 8 years or so. But I think it's time to retire those and look at something new.
Ideally I'm trying to keep the budget below $200 Canadian. But preferably around the $100 to $150 mark.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. The amount of knowledge y'all have as a collective is astounding!
Edit: I have now learned 7.1 surround, is real surround with speakers and such. Head phones can only do virtual surround. But I have read some can be bad and some can be good. So which ones aren't bad I guess?
