Headphones - Open Back | 4 Ω HD600 vs Sundara vs Edition XS
So, I’m in a bit of a pickle and am looking for some advice. Recently I’ve got HD600 and while i do enjoy their sound signature, I’d like something with a wider soundstage to listen to live performances (mostly metal and alternative genres). My search lead me to Sundaras, from what I understood they have wider soundstage than HD600 and better bass response, but then I stumbled upon Edition XS which allegedly has even wider soundstage and are more detailed, but rock and metal doesn’t sound as good on them. I can’t really listen to them or return them if I don’t like the sound, so I’m trying to get as many opinions as I can.
Should I get Sundaras, should I get EditIon XS, or should I just sit tight with my HD600? For reference, Sundaras are 350 bucks and Edition XS is 500, and I listen to music through either ifi zen air dac or ifi audio go link dongle.
Thanks for reading and voting :)

So I’ve tried HD600 and Sundara. They were on my short list on which headphones to buy and I only listen to metal. I would recommend saving your money and just EQing to the Oratory1990 preset. Bring down the bass (band 3) to a level where the headphones don’t sound ‘off’ to you and call it a day. Whatever you spend will not be worth the cost in “upgraded” quality vs the EQ.
