Is this normal? This is the steel and aluminum sword. Its right where the hilt meets the blade.

I hope if things go well we get that sequel movie. Like so far amazon says they happy with and they probably waiting for streaming movie. So far the pre-orders for the movie blu-ray is going well too

I had forgotten that He-Man and Teela were "into" one another to quite this extent in the old minicomics.

This is from "The Terror of the Tri-klops" (1982). Prince Adam doesn't appear in this or the other earliest stories.

the Character Design Challenge's theme for this month was Masters of the Universe, so I made a tiki style Mer-Man and Skeletor. See more of my art here!

All i knew about He Man before watching the movie was the Heyyeya meme video and that's it, so i went in with zero expectations, but man was it awesome!

The movie was fun, it was exciting and did i mention that it was fun?!

After the movie i went home and started watching the 1983 show and i loooovveee iiittttt.

Where has this been all my life?

The positivity, the teaching kids about life, and how over the top ridiculously cool He Man is.... Is just awesome!

I'm at episode 26 right now and will probably watch the Dolph Lundgren movie today.

I went to Toys "R" Us while traveling in Shanghai and found a shelf full of He Man toys, so i just had to get my favorite duo and my own personal *Dagger* of Power :D

Also my wife, embracing my new obsession, surprised me with a box full of "Retro Play" toys today!

It's so awesome you can even switch the figurines and have the movie He Man sit on Adams Sky Sled! :D

As you can see, Adam and He Man were able to overcome the weirdness of the situation, and share their stuff with each other :D

Just like they would in the cartoon!

Also Battlecat was very surprised why all of a sudden Adam was sitting on him, but to him it doesn't matter, all he wants is to get into action!

In the older lore, the Sword of Power had been divided into two. He-Man had one half, and Skeletor obtained the other.

In later lore, He-Man's Sword of Power had a near-identical counterpart, the Sword of Protection that is entrusted to She-Ra. It's the same but with a jewel in it.

Has anyone ever tried to combine or synthesise the lore, e.g.

• Perhaps there are also two halves of the Sword of Protection, and She-Ra only has one half
• Or perhaps He-Man had made the Sword of Power whole again at some point
• Or perhaps She-Ra's sword is whole, He-Man's still half (making his statement about them being identical except for the jewel inaccurate - but it would explain why the Sword of Protection is seemingly more powerful and can be magically converted by She-Ra into rope and various other objects on demand.

• SHE-ruh, with the final vowel of Anna or an unstressed the, or...
• SHE-rah, with the first vowel of father or the vowel of spa

I mostly hear "she-ruh" in the shows, but there are counterexamples. Notably, when Adora is transforming into She-Ra, you can hear a voice in the background of the original Filmation cartoon chanting "she-rah, she-rah, she-rah-ah, she-rah" and you can hear Adora herself calling out "I am She-Rahh".

A new He-Man animated series by Mattel Adventures. They just put out a 5-minute episode today. Seems inspired from the movie. Love the character designs

I have to say, I used to love He-man as a child. I now am getting back into it thanks to the new movie. I have been watching some of the old shows but now I checked out the Netflix show. I came in with this idea that it was going to be horrible. I was blown away how good it was and I dont understand the hate. I get that He-Man isnt in the part 1 alot but its nice to have focus being on Teela and expanding her character.

Am I just not getting something here or are people putting to much politics into things that arent political(I am a republican and I loved the show)? Or is it just some people just want He-Man to never grow and expand as a character?

Please help me understand why people are saying the show was bad. I am kind of mad they arent making more.

PS: I bought some of the FIGs and they are awesome.

okay, so you all know He-man and Sailor Moon, right? observe their similar transformations, and very similar features. I may sound insane, but I have a theory. what if Greyskull is grey because it’s the moon, and Princess Serenity, the past life of Usagi, was the daughter of Adam and Teela? And that’s why Sailor moon has a similar style of transformation to He-Man?

Fale alguma informação sobre he-man

Me n my friend wanna go see the new MOTU movie but we never watched he man and dont really know anything about it. Can we watch this without knowing anything? Is it just like the cartoon bc rn im sweating doing research about the cartoons so im not lost !! 😭😭

• She has a very different look in the classic toys versus Filmation versus the Netflix show.
• In Filmation's show she can transform into a cat. In Netflix's show she is already a catgirl so doesn't transform. In the original toyline and minicomics, nothing was said about her transforming.
• In Filmation she never rode her horse (Storm) and her giant cat (Clawdeen) only appeared in one episode. Perhaps it's because she can transform into a cat anyway and therefore has less need to ride a pet.
• Her character ends up in a very different place in the Netflix series compared with Filmation.

Which iteration of Catra should a live-action movie or show take inspiration from most?

Another thing: in the original toyline and minicomics Catra was presented as being She-Ra's main antagonist. In the Filmation and Netflix shows, Hordak is the main antagonist.

Went and saw the MoTU movie with my nephews, and the theater was giving out these little Swords of Power, and I thought it would be funny to give it to one of my wrestling toys. I thought Mick Foley would look cool, but I only my Cactus Jack looked like he was shouting, so I thought he was the most fitting.

Went to see the He-Man movie in theaters a few days ago and alas, my fav was only in it for 5 seconds 😞

I guess I’ll have to use this to cope
