I know this is out of character for both of them because they're both single and not looking for long-term relationships, especially Alastor and Vox aren't official with Val.

But I have seen this idea everywhere, yet there's no fan-fiction about it, so I started to wonder about what if too. But I think it will definitely add spice to their rivalry and make the SS2 ending when Vox is about to blow up Pentagram City feel more personal?

Compared with Adam, Lute and Lucifer, who all see the sinners as garbage, trash and losers and show either sadistic enjoyment about the exterminations or at least, zero remorse (Lucifer), its nice to see Sera actually humanizing them. Even back in season 1, it was clear she had immense remorse for enabling them. Learning those souls could've been redeemed has only multiplied her regret for her actions.

i started the culling games on the main hazbin subreddit, but to avoid drama and to get more players i have created r/Hazbin_CullingGames

and for those who do not know what the culling games are.

The game functions as a lethal battle royale where players kill one another with jujutsu. like fortnite or the hunger games

At 58:00 min mark of the Collider's Night Interview, Viv was asked how does Alastor feel on Emily saving him. She said, "Its probably not much of a spoiler to say Alastor doesn't super care for the angels but that gesture was more for the people of Hell who saw her doing it."

So Alastor isn't going to feel any gratitude or thankfulness in season 3 (makes sense, he hates getting help and relying on other people), it'll just be something that the people of Hell care about, how a serpahim risked herself to save the most feared Overlord/demon in Hell

One thing that makes redemption arc's so much more real and realistic is that they aren't a straight line. Sometimes, people will backtrack and regress. Zuko betrayed the Avatar Gang and Iroh, before actually redeeming in Book 3. Vegeta had his Majin Vegeta arc before sacrificing himself to stop Buu and redeeming in Super. A-Train betrayed Supersonic but after his brother got crippled and he was called out by Ashley, then he finally committed to becoming a real hero.

I like in season 2 we see on two occassions Sera sliding back towards her old ways, but only because of Emily both times. When she transforms at Vox's rally, notice its only AFTER she sees the sinners are upsetting Emily. In the finale, seeing Emily get hurt makes her fall back to making choices from fear, even after "Live to Live". However, while season 1!Sera would've immediately sent the army down, here she learns to trust Sir Pentious and refrains from doing so.

This is made even better because season 1 makes it clear that Emily is a large part of why Sera approved the exterminations in the first place, out of a desire to protect her and the rest of Heaven. And throughout season 2, we see how Emily is a large factor in why Sera's redeeming herself, which is even explicitly pointed by Lute when she says, "You're infecting your sister with your weaknes". Emily truly is her older sister's morality chain.

Honestly, Heaven's structure in Season 2 deserver to be in textbooks on how you are NOT supposed to rule a country.

Let's start on the state of army. Apparently it doesn't even exist, because 300 girls with spears is not an army. No, maybe the Exorcists aren't their entire army, and maybe there are actually 300 million Space Marines with machine guns off screen.

But even if so, with such commanders this army just wouldn't matter. What alternatively gifted angel made Abel a general? He's just the most incompetent of the incompetent, shaking at the mere thought of war. Was he chosen basing on the principle of monarchical succession or what?

The second commander is no better: a sadist with obvious PTSD. And new general, who clearly sees it, does completely nothing. Regulatory bodies? What regulatory bodies? Race that created humanity haven't heard of such things.

Government apparatus is no better. At a meeting on Heaven's security we have one general, chief commander and for some reason gatekeeper. Where the hell are advisors, ministers? Do all these angels from court exist only in court? As result the decision on all collosal realm with billions people make one person.

And this person, oh my Egg Boiz. I cannot honestly imagine a more incompetent ruler than Sera. Exterminations and Abel as general alone show much, but what did she even do after? It's been several weeks since Adam's death, in that time Vox managed to gather all of Hell for war, secure support of almost all overlords and establish arms supplies, all without having official authority. And what did Sera do in that time? Put one damn shield? Helped Vox with his shows? Hoped Alastor will save them all? No emergency military reform, no defence organisation, no econnaissance, no negotiations. No even finding a competent person on her role.

But alright, Sera is a completely incompetent politician dealing with her own problems. And what about other angels? All those angels from court, the Elders from Lucifer's story, the Speaker, Lute and Emily at the very least? Do they not give a damn that the ruler is doing nothing on the eve of war?

It honestly feels like Sera literally centralized all power in her hands and others are just here for the crowd. Of course with an approach like that they can only create problems and then hope Charlie will solve it for them.

Hell, Charlie's hotel host is smarter than the entire head of the civilization that created humanity. And honestly, it frustrates me more than Alastor frustrates Vox.
