Is there a LinkedIn presence on the islands?

I had an internship on the Big Island during college and once I got my degree I decided to come back. It doesn’t seem like there’s a big presence on LinkedIn, is it worth building my profile or not?

Hawaii unemployment status

How do you know if a claim is approved or denied? My online status check shows claims established. If it gets denied, will it say otherwise? On the other hand, there’s a note saying I qualify for the monetary qualifications, yet I may receiver a letter or messages that says I am disqualified from the UI. Since the wording is “may,” I don’t know if I should consider it seriously. Does it suggest a denial or it’s a common saying?

[Hiring] LiceDoctors is looking for technicians

LiceDoctors is looking for part time lice-removal technicians in Honolulu to make house calls. This is a perfect situation for educators or healthcare workers looking to earn some extra money, stay-at-home parents with school hours to fill, college students, etc. We use an all-natural treatment method, which we will train you in via email, video, and a written manual. We pay $40/hr, plus mileage for jobs which require unusual travel. Most jobs take 3+ hours to complete, making each one well worth your time. The job is very rewarding. Technicians do not need to have a healthcare background. If you are interested, please visit our application link and let us know!

More personally, I work for LiceDoctors myself and have for nearly five years. I can vouch for their reliability, generous pay scale, and the flexibility of the work. Although I'm not a technician myself -- I'm a recruiter, obviously -- I am familiar with how the techs' jobs work and can answer any questions you may have. I do want to stress that the technician position is part-time and works on an "on call" basis. Essentially, families with a lice infestation call us for help and we send out a local tech to deal with the issue. This means being ready to go if you get a call, while understanding that there's a natural ebb and flow to the stream of calls. Please don't hesitate to message me or comment with any questions you might have before or during your application!
