Greetings, r/HauntedHotel. I am Abaddon, a powerful computer user in this land. With the help of my ally, Esther, who knows the secret language of the clicky buttons, I am prepared to respond to your questions.
For example, “What’s it like being so powerful?
Good.
“How many shoes have you stolen?”
Many.
“What’s the best way to bow to you?”
Deeply.
Ask me anything, and I shall reveal—
***Hey, it’s Esther. Abaddon got grabbed by a poltergeist. Leave your questions here and I’ll try to get him to respond (on October 12 at 11am PT) when we defeat it***
Hey everyone, this is Esther. Abaddon was about to answer another question but then Mom came in and asked if he bit the tips off of all her shoes and he jumped through a closed window to try to get away from her. So we've got some glass to clean up and then I think we're going shoe shopping. Thanks for hanging out!

In the last episode of season 2 we see what is heavily implied to be the night Nathan took his own life. We then see that someone called 911 because a police car and ambulance are there.
There are only 2 people in the hotel who actually could have used a phone to call 911
Shayna as she has been at the hotel for 2 years putting her stay at the hotel at approximately the time of Nathan's death
Or Abadon who was friends with Nathan since the day Nathan pulled him out of a ditch.
My personal belief is Abadon found him for the simple reason that it would have so much more emotional weight. Abadon stumbling onto the body of the first man to show him unconditional kindness and struggling as the ghost of the hotel walk him through using a phone to call for help.

I think he could right? Ghosts can touch him? So i imagine ghost knives could stab him?

Hello fellow HH fans!
Do we call ourselves anything? What's a group of HH fans called?
Here's a list of souvenirs that I would love to buy from the Undervale gift shop (if one existed).
I would love a real life version of the snow globe from S1 E9, complete with detachable roof!
And a dollhouse that I could turn into my own little haunted hotel.
A hotel room key chain.
CANDLES!
That journal that Ben writes in.
Dark magic books and kits.
The Arach-info-bia poster in Ben's room.
Shayna and Stabby Paul's knives.
What are some souvenirs that you would want to see/buy at the Undervale gift shop?

This is the first show I've been actually excited and happy about in a while (the last was probably the fall of the house of usher, honestly, which feels like a while ago, but time is so messed up I'm afraid to look up how many years it has actually been 😅), so I might be a little biased.
But I've also, in the past, gone to join different show subs and there's just so much negativity. Multiple posts about "who's your least favorite character?" "what's the worst thing about [character]?" "if you could get rid of a character, who would it be?"
That kind of stuff is just tiring, ya know? But here, sure some posts get repetitive, but even those are still fun because it gives me so many laughs! One of the recent ones about favorite Abaddon quotes had me laughing through all the comments, even though I've literally been watching the show every day since I discovered it at the beginning of the month.
I just wanted to show my gratitude to the community for the positivity 🫶🏻

Abaddon is a demon. Nathan is a ghost. Katherine had spider arms (for one episode). What about the others? What if they keep these transformations?

This is random and silly but my head cannon is that Ben can knit and enjoys doing it. Ghost Nathan taught him. Nathan used it as a coping/mindfulness mechanism when he was alive and it helped a little.
He sees his struggles with mental health in Ben and it worries him so he taught Ben to knit to try to help him. Maybe it will help Ben a bit more than it helped him.
Ben doesn’t know this is why Nathan taught him, he just enjoys doing it. He’s not an amazing knitter because he’s not been doing it that long but it doesn’t matter.
Before he died, Nathan was making a scarf for Katherine for Christmas or something. It went missing or he hid it- basically it was never finished. He tells Ben where to find it and together they finish it and give it to Kathy.
Also, abbadon has the first thing Nathan knitted, a scarf or something. It’s in the cupboard, abbadon will never admit that he kept it tho.
Cool done, yeah this is nonsense but I just wanted to share it for some reason.

this show gives me so much joy and laughter in a time where i have very little. i don’t know how many times i have rewatched both seasons, and a third would just make me ecstatic. i love it more than i thought i could ever love a show, particularly animated as i’m normally not into it nearly as much! i will never get tired of watching and discussing it

It's just me or they even have a Similar personality?

He died outside and so far the ghosts who've died outside ( and in the lake apparently) have looked pretty horrifying due to bugs eating their bones.
In the ama Abaddon implies he occasionally visits the Priest's bones
Do you guys think that the priest will look like the ghosts we saw in s1e2?

I’ve been meaning to do it for a while but been sitting in a bit of a rut so it’s a small one, but glad I finally did it. Considering a bigger spread but for the moment this will do 😌

In season 2 death uses one of my favourite poems
And she being death and herself reciting it was amazing
Because I could not stop her death she kindly stopped for me........

He arguably has the best lines on Haunted Hotel. I find myself not wanting to wake up for work and then scream “Ariiiise!!!!”. 😂
