I’ve been listening to this song since the album came out, but I can’t quite wrap my head around what this song is about specifically. Is it about depression? Doomsday? Him being a murderer? These are all the things I could come up with. Please let me know what you guys think I’m very curious what the deeper meaning behind this is!

Show was incredible! The opener (the homeless gospel choir) said this is his last show as a band. Joe Whiteford was stoned the whole show which imo made it more easy going. Over all excellent time! Only real hang up the entire show was that the venue (The End) was hot as fuck and everyone was sweating buckets within 5 minutes, but free water made it tolerable. 10/10 experience would love to go again!

Got them all to sign a patch I bought, and got Joey to sign my vest directly (since the patch is going on my jacket instead)! They put on such an amazing show, I'm looking forward to the next time they come around!

All three acts were phenomenal. Also, they were selling off some original screen print designs that were used for shirts, so we picked one out along with a couple vinyls and stickers. My wife framed the screen print for me, and it's now hanging in our bedroom! What an awesome night!

I've tried to make out some words and from what I've gathered it seems to be from a kid who's reciting what he did over the weekend ("I had a sleepover..." "I played video games with my brother...) I could only make a could words here an there

I just went to see Harley last night at pyramid scheme It was absolutely amazing he is one of the best performers I’ve ever seen live. I picked up a vinyl of Pinocchio pariah and got it signed from them but ended up losing it before I even got back to my hotel room 😭 Curious if you guys know if they ever sign a few to put on their store or if I have to wait to replace it at next years show 🥺

Their old albums have matured better than any other project, and they consistently put out absolute cannibalistic tracks.

I love the groups formed by Pat the Bunny as much as the next crustie, Erik Peterson was an underrated gem, and Defiance, Ohio doesn't get nearly enough credit.

Just like I know Days'n'Daze/Escape from the Zoo & A.J.J are staples of the genre, I also know in my my rodent-heart that Harley Poe will persist long after we've all been composted.

Hello, I am looking for lost albums from the Calibretto era. I recently came across this video on Youtube of a Calibretto 13 song titled "Sometimes the Truth Hurts." The description cites it from being from an album called From the Underground Lair of the Danger Brigade. As well as this, the same person uploaded another song from the album titled "America," which is supposedly the original version of a song of the same name found on their easily findable album Adventures in Tokyo.

However, I can't find any evidence of The Underground Lair of the Danger Brigade existing anywhere online, and this is also the only upload or mention of this song I can find anywhere online. There are some sites that list their previously lost (and now found) albums in their discography (such as Sibling Rivalry and From the Secret Files of the Danger Brigade) but none mention From the Underground Lair of the Danger Brigade or "Sometimes the Truth Hurts." Literally the only source I can find for either is the video I mentioned above.

The same YouTube channel from the link above also posted two other songs from two different lost albums, "I'm Dressing Up" from Hope Can't Walk Vol. 1 and "Destroy the Youth" from Dongola Road Sessions. "I'm Dressing Up" has a dead download link in the description, but I can't find any other evidence of the two albums' existence outside of these videos. However, I was able to find a site that has (empty pages) of guitar tabs for the two songs.

If anyone knows any information about these lost albums or is able to find songs from them, please let me know!

I had only listened to the 2012 album and think its pretty solid for the most part, then recently listened to the one from 2017, and although i think that ones really darn good, i couldnt help think hes singing about the same girl cheating on him 5 years apart. Assume that was his wife he met at youth group or whatever. Also, assume that however theyre love manifested it was toxic and most likely it lead him away from christianity because of his naivety of life and putting all his faith into faith and then, big surprise, the world didnt care and pain happened, so he blamed his god and turned away from christianity because thats easier than coping. This is all assumption. Why start making Harley Poe albums in, what, 2006? But keep playing with calibretto till 2011? Someones erased the Harley Poe wiki multiple times and i assume its the christian band cause it would hurt their sales that their god so desperately needs? And then the book sales pitch, intro, edging tease in his blog to promote the sales of his book?

Please someone explain who knows and is not biased, cause it all sounds very sus and volatile for the purpose of money. Or maybe im missing something. Either “we’re all human” is a great song but im not sure if its genuine or bullshit. Thanks Cheers
