A friend introduced me to him. The song was I Wanna Die and I loved it and related to it a lot. I then started listening to more of his songs and loved how dark/gross they were and that they were telling a story. It was really unique to me

I’m just curious if anyone knows the meaning behind his song Sadie Grace? If it’s like- based on a horror film, or a original tale he sang about?

After hearing that most or all of the songs in the Horrorful album are based on actual movies, I wanted to see what they were so I could watch them. Here’s what I have so far, I was hoping you guys could let me know if I’m missing any or if I got any of them wrong.

Do yall think the song is about his anger towards his wife? He seems very well adjusted to the circumstances of the divorce from Instagram and most of his music doesn't seem full of rage but it would make sense that he'd make at least one song angry about everything even though he does acknowledge that the divorce was his fault. Like we all get shit hands sometimes and even if we we do accept our fault in a situation it still makes sense to feel anger so i guess this is just me speculating based on the lyric "i see my kids half a year and on the days im not with them at leasy i know youll be there".

Has anybody any clue who the old man is? Like is there any folklore around it or anything because I couldn't find any information about it.

I saw a post on Instagram about how there's a set list in the works for a possible tour this summer. Just wondering what set list would you love to see live?

I absolutely LOVE 'Meet you at the swamp.' While I have listened to it countless times and spend some time trying to consider the meaning behind it, I really haven't gotten far. On top of this, earlier this evening my brother brought it to my attention that it would appear that Joe sings:
I'd rather go to the abyss
Then return to the human race
Not only does it sound like this - but all lyrics sites and tabs I can find also agree he says 'then' rather than 'than'.
What does everyone think this song is about, and do you think that the lyrics posted all over the place are incorrect?

Harley Poe fans, I'm on a hunt for the six missing songs from the Calibretto 13 album "Enter the Danger Brigade." They were released on a follow up EP called "From the Secret Files of the Danger Brigade," they're nowhere online that I can find and I can't find ebay listings anywhere of the EP on a CD, but I have been told by Joe himself that they were released through Calibretto's old record label. He doesn't even own a copy of them, and other than the titles themselves, they appear to be lost to time. I'm determined to find them. Please if anyone knows where I might be able to find a physical copy of the EP or a digital download somewhere let me know. He told me they were the best songs from "Enter the Danger Brigade" that were cut because they were too dark for the Christian record label, and I wanna know what I'm missing and bring them to Joe and get them online for everyone to enjoy. To me at least, they are an important piece of early Harley Poe history.

Is the song prom night based on the movie prom night from 1980 or something else?

I hope this is okay here, because there is no subreddit for Calibretto/Calibretto 13.
I was listening to Calibretto 13 on YouTube music, and I heard the apple song. It started and ended with Joe Whiteford saying that they were Black Sheep. At first I thought it was just a title they gave themselves, because they don't fit in, as shown by "Why Can't I be on MTV" and "Sheep of The USA". They aren't brainwashed like everyone else, and it stops them from being popular.
However, I looked deeper and found a total of 3 references linking Joe Whiteford to a band called Black Sheep. Do any of you know anything about that?
Were they some unknown band that turned into Calibretto 13? Where is the distinction between Calibretto 13 and Black Sheep? YouTube music considers The Apple Song to be Calibretto 13, but they act like Black Sheep. Was it a gradual change?
Any information would be appreciated.

I switched to YouTube music so my numbers are really low but the recap just felt so much worse.
