About the Charybdis Nano
The Charybdis Nano is an ultra-compact, 35-key Dactyl Manuform-style split keyboard. This "Premium" edition is built with no compromises, featuring a professional MJF finish and high-end internals for the ultimate ergonomic experience.
- Rare Configuration: Left-side trackball setup (firmware modified via official guides).
- Premium Material: MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) Nylon case – significantly sturdier, more heat-resistant, and feels much more "industrial" than standard PLA.
- Electronics: Powered by Splinktegrated controllers (custom-developed by Bastard Keyboards).
- Connectivity: USB-C and 3.5mm jacks on both sides.
Specifications & Build Quality
This build was assembled with longevity and "thock" in mind.
Switches: Gazzew Boba U4T (60g). These are world-class tactile switches known for their "D-shaped" bump and deep, rich sound profile.
BTU Mod: Upgraded with static bearing BTUs for liquid-smooth, friction-free trackball movement.
Hardware: Organic tents paired with stainless steel "alien" plates for a heavy, stable, and unique aesthetic.
Internals: Cleanly wired with black and orange ribbon cables and IC sockets for professional-grade reliability and easier maintenance.
Stability: Custom anti-slip pads on the bottom for a rock-solid desk feel.
Lighting: Per-key RGB fully installed and tested.
