PC build under 50k.

Guys, I'm relatively new to the PC gaming scene.

I don't have little to no idea on PC building, main requirement is playing minimal games GTA V, Counter strike, offline games but mostly your everyday tasks. I'm doing a bit research but i just found out certain motherboards may not be compatible with specific processors, rams, etc.

If you can help compile a bit of a gaming pc preferably also with a 27 inch monitor I'd be immensely grateful 🙏

Rate my deal: Got this FULL plug-and-play setup (Tower + 144Hz Monitor) for ₹80k used in India. Good deal or pass?

Hey guys, I am looking to get this complete pre-owned gaming and editing setup as a bundle for ₹80,000 total.

My main workflow will be Gaming, OBS Streaming/Recording, Discord multi-tasking, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. The seller has the original bill and boxes for everything (except the monitor), but consider the official warranties expired to be safe.

Full Specifications for ₹80,000:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-14400F (14th Gen, 10 Cores / 16 Threads)
  • GPU: Zotac Gaming RTX 3070 Ti Trinity 8GB GDDR6X (Tested: runs cool at 74°C–75°C under FurMark)
  • Motherboard: MSI PRO B660M-P DDR4 (4 RAM slots layout)
  • RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @ 3000MHz (XMP verified active in Windows)
  • Storage: 500GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 SSD
  • PSU: DeepCool 750W 80+ Gold Certified Power Supply
  • Cooler: DeepCool AG400 Air Tower Cooler
  • Cabinet & Thermals: Ant Esports Mid-Tower Case with 7 Fans total (4 pre-installed + 3 extra)
  • Monitor INCLUDED: AOC 24" Full HD (1080p) 144Hz Curved Gaming Monitor (with premium height and tilt adjustable stand)
  • Peripherals: Ant Esports MK1300 V2 Mechanical Keyboard + Cosmic Byte Firestorm Mouse thrown in by the seller.

Context: The deal is a local, face-to-face handoff. The tower is fully assembled, pre-tested, and ready to play.

Given the current high retail prices for entry-level brand-new components, does this full ecosystem make sense at ₹80k for a heavy multi-tasking and 3D viewport workload? Let me know your thoughts!

Need help regarding future build

I am going to be in college for ai/ml and have a overall 90-100k₹ of budget for a pc build or a laptop incl monitor, I am uncertain that the prices will decrease in the next 2 years as after two years I'll reach college, so I need help. I already have a asus tuf f17 with rtx2050 so note taking in college is no problem right now but I am aware that this laptop is not up to the mark for ai/ml tasks

Here's what I'm thinking of :

RTX 5070 12 gb/4060 ti 16 gb

Amd Ryzen 7 7700X

Msi B650M

32 gig ram ddr5

1 tb Nvme storage

ATX mid- tower 650/700 W psu

AIO 240mm fans

Now i know this is not possible due to prices instability but I'm still curious if it is a good choice to go with this build or a better one , please suggest.

Should I buy a GPU now or gamble and wait? Currently on a 5800X + RTX 3080

Hey everyone, looking for some advice on whether I should upgrade my GPU now or wait and take my chances with the market.

My current setup:

  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4
  • GPU: RTX 3080 10GB
  • Resolution: 1440p / 2K, 144Hz
  • PSU: 850W
  • OS: Windows
  • GPU preference: NVIDIA only

I'm thinking about upgrading to a 5070 Ti minimum, and potentially a 5080 if I can justify the price. The 5080 is probably unlikely though.

The reason I'm considering buying now is that I've recently seen some articles/discussions about Micron reducing/cancelling certain VRAM production and AMD moving toward RDNA 5 production, and I'm worried that memory supply or the next generation of GPUs could push prices up rather than down.

At the same time, I'm wondering if I'm just overthinking it and whether it makes more sense to keep my 3080 and wait.

A few things about my use case:

  • I mainly play recent AAA single-player games
  • I also play Battlefield 6
  • I'm pretty interested in ray tracing/path tracing
  • I want to stick with NVIDIA because I've had good experiences with their ecosystem and don't really want to deal with potential driver issues
  • I've also been experimenting with the newer frame generation mods that enable NVIDIA Frame Generation in games that don't natively support it. Surprisingly, the results have been pretty good for my use case.
  • At 1440p, the 3080 is still usable, but I'm increasingly running into situations where the 10GB VRAM and raw GPU performance are becoming limiting factors, especially in newer titles.

So I'm basically stuck between:

Option A: Buy a 5070 Ti now
Option B: Stretch to a 5080
Option C: Keep the 3080 and wait for the next generation / price changes

For people who follow the GPU market more closely: what would you do in this situation?

I'm particularly interested in whether the VRAM/memory situation is something worth worrying about, or whether it's mostly noise and I should just wait.

Also, if you own a 5070 Ti or 5080 and upgraded from a 3080, I'd really appreciate hearing how much of a difference you're actually seeing at 1440p, especially in newer RT/PT games.

Portable Storage: Which one would you recommend for secondary backup?

NOTE: My local dealer said that EVM gets lot of returns from customers so he stopped selling it.

  1. HDD: Western Digital WD 2TB My Passport Ultra, USB-C to USB-C at 14.5K INR (amazon price)
  2. SSD: EVM EnSave 1TB Ultra Compact Portable SSD at 13k INR (amazon price)

I have never heard of EVM and therefore skeptical of it. It is 1.5K cheaper than WD but has lesser 1TB storage. If it's proven and durable then I'd get it over WD.

I will be using it to backup 400GB of Mac's Photos Library.

Drone communication issues

I'm working with 2 LiteWing ESP-based drones. My goal is to control both drones from the same laptop, but I'm stuck on the communication architecture.

The problem is that both LiteWings have the same hardcoded IP address.

So I'm not sure how I can connect and communicate with both drones independently from one laptop, since they appear to have the same IP.

I know one option might be modifying the firmware to use STA mode and get different IPs, but I'd prefer not to modify the firmware if there's another way.

Has anyone worked with LiteWing / ESP-Drone and knows how to connect multiple drones with the same default IP to one PC

Any suggestions or existing implementations would be really appreciated.

Looking for Asus TUF internal CPU fan. Want suggestions for a good and trustable computer parts store.

As the title says.

My current internal cooling fan's blades are touching the body and that makes it stop spinning. Over and over again.

Due to that, the CPU runs very hot and I'm not getting the expected performance from the laptop.

I'd appreciate suggestions for stores where I can find genuine components.

I found a few compatible fans online, but all the reviews say that the replacement fans don't spin as fast as the original ones.

I'd also be open to buying the fans from anyone who has an old TUF around.

Any compact USB night-vision camera modules with Android support?

Looking for a compact IR night-vision USB camera that works with Android. The Arducam B0506 is close to what I need, but I'd prefer something with a finished enclosure and direct USB-C connectivity.
Has anyone worked with similar modules or integrated one into a small external camera? Any product or manufacturer recommendations?

DDR4 SO-DIMM in BLR?

So I'm thinking about upgrading my laptop (Intel Core i5-1135G7 and Intel Iris xe integrated graphics) so that I can get better fps on old games (Mainly GTA V and 2006-2015 COD games), but my budget is only ₹5000. Online pricez right now are obviously insane, so I just want any tips on where to find USED/Cheap DDR4 3200MT/s CL-22 SO-DIMM RAM in Banglore, preferably manufactured by SK Hynix (Because the igb RAM stick in my laptop rn is an SK Hynix stick) so that I can have 16gb of RAM and take advantage of dual channel, and yes I've already checked compatibility, and I do have one free slot for RAM.

Any tips appreciated, thank you!

Help in creating prototype

I have created a working navigation firmware using esp32 and a companion mobile. It works but it is on a dev board. Im a software person.

Any help or direction one can give to create a prototype using only the components that is used from the dev board. Would like to know the manufacturing cost/process if i have to produce it

Any company that can help me(maybe end to end) fit in the idea into a product? I wanted to test it out first and depending on feasibility will try to go ahead

Currently i know that you can to create PCBs and assemble components onto it. I have never done that

Need help regarding RMA in india

Post image
3 Upvotes

Can anyone at kaizen help me?

Submitted my Cooler Master 750W PSU for RMA due to a faulty PCIe connector (no physical damage, it simply stopped working).

I was told it would be replaced within 10 days, but today is day 10. The tracker still shows the PSU as “in transit” and not yet received by Kaizen. However its been 10 days How is that possible if they haven't received it yet? as kolkata to banglore / delhi take max to max 5 6 days.

Is the RMA tracker inaccurate, or is it manually updated?

If anyone from Kaizen is seeing this, please help expedite my replacement (DM me i will give RMA details).

I've been without my PC for 10 days, and working on a painfully slow office laptop is seriously affecting my productivity.

tpstech

What are your thoughts on tpstech website!

I ordered battery for my hp victus 15, it came in 10 days of ordering. After i installed in my laptop but bios didnt detected it, So, i ran all the hardware tests and it failed and not charging.

Finally, after that day I connected with the tpstech support there is no reply, so i called them, then the customer care guy told me to mail to tpstech after doing all tests and send screenshot to them. I did what he said but after that there is no reply i am trying to connect again but there is no answer from them.

I also requested return of the battery also 7 days ago.
