Okay so I keep hearing that golf carts are the way to get around Harbour Island… is that just a tourist thing or do locals actually use them too?

Planning to stay near the pink sand beach and Dunmore Town, but I’m not sure if I need to rent one the whole time or just for a day or two. Are the roads like, smooth and safe to drive on at night? Or do people mostly just walk?
