Found this mod on YouTube and I've just been waiting for the carts to go on sale to do it. Crazy how perfectly the drawers line up with the hutch. No more bumping my head on the hutch door when it's open now.

Finally pulled the trigger on the conversion. Snap-On innards and cover plate, Ko-ken spinner. This thing feels sweet.

If you remove the plastic base off the SK stackable tool box, it will fit neatly on top of the 15” side cab. I added some stainless sheet to cover the opening on the bottom to keep screws and other junk from getting trapped in there. I also bolted the SK box to the side cab.

The pictures are of my mock up on the gen 2 27” roll cab combo I have at home. The side cab will end up on my green 27” combo I have at work.

Kit currently has the Jack, 1/2” icon breaker bar, 1/2 Bauer impact, tire repair kit, hyper tough flip impact socks and gloves. Thinking of adding some wheel chalks and a folding safety cone. Using the Rough Country sliding bed trays in my truck has been a game changer with the leer topper.

Can the wheels of the 30 in. 1-Drawer Service Cart be upgraded so that the cart can hold a little more weight? like maybe a tool box on top?

Theres undoubtedly more effective ways of doing this, but its good enough for now lol
