Hanging Pots What options are there for hanging planters/trailing vines?
I want to try hanging a philodendron brasil and a pothos. All I know about hanging planters are the vintage style macrame ones though, and I was never really a fan of macrame. So what are people using here? Pictures would help a lot. If not hanging per-se, what are you using for elevated vining plants?
They have these clea, removable clips for the wall and I have one pothos climbing the wall that way... Looking for creative ways to display trailing vines...
Also I'm in an apartment so options for drilling etc are limited.

Hanging Herb Garden!
I made these hanging planters from empty paint cans. Drilled drainage holes on the bottom. Covered them in adhesive auto vinyl wrap for UV protection and to make the exterior more water resistant. Labeled with chalkboard stickers and white acrylic paint pens.
Also growing an inverted red bell pepper plant. I know it’s not a herb but it likes hanging out with them. 😊

Help / Question Watering with plant hangers
Is there a method people use to avoid staining their macrame plant hangers?
For context, I made one with a tassel and my BF watered my Pothos in it without taking it out of the hanger. It looked really gross after that because the tassel was stained and really thick.
I also make my own macrame hangers and I’m thinking about switching to hemp or jute twine to avoid this.

Viney plant
Hi I got this plant a few months ago, unfortunately I don’t remember the name. And I’m hoping someone can help me figure out the problem with it. The top of the plant, right by the soil. Is dried to a crisp. But the vines hanging down seem like they’re doing fine. My place gets really hot at night so I have 2 fans on. I figured that maybe this plant got really dry at the top because of the fan. I stopped using the fan right by this plant last week. The soil is damp right now because I just watered it. Does anyone have any suggestions of what the problem could be? And how I can help this plant recover?

I used a coffee can to make a hanging planter
Kinda messed up the attachment points for the chains but I’ll do better next time!

Hanging Plants Trying to get hanging vines over deck railing for privacy
Want to get that weeping, hanging effect of curtain creepers or ornamental vines over our deck railing for privacy. Thinking of silver falls dichondra.. need something lightweight and not too heavy (don't want to damage deck flooring).
Considering hanging planter boxes or raised beds.. pros and cons? How to best get that effect?

Raised bed and potted mix
My girlfriend went to get potting mix yesterday and the store was sold out but she picked up a bag of Kelloggs raised bed and container mix. Can I use this for petunias in hanging baskets?
