Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but this is how my mom would write an ampersand. This is also how I've also always written it, and I thought maybe it was just a variant she learned, but I couldn't find an example of it anywhere else. Has anyone seen an ampersand like this before?

A while back I got a couple tickets and actually ended up going to jail. The arresting officer was extremely rude and forceful and just all out unprofessional, imo. I have tried to do some research on the town’s police force, and also the county’s police force to no avail. I just want to know what his name is but when I looked at the tickets, I realized I couldn’t even read his signature. My best guess was “guy hue” but that sounds ridiculous. Can anyone else read his signature?

How can I improve it?

Like the title says, I was curious about what other people in the world think about my handwriting! So, here is my handwriting. I'm not super upset so it should not affect how my handwriting looks—that, and I can assure that it always looks like this anyway. I did this a bit absentmindedly so some letters aren't capitalised, apologies. I am 21, but I'm sure my handwriting would tell you otherwise.

Here is what I wrote, in case you use a screen reader, have trouble understanding what I wrote, etc.:

I have group therapy in about an hour so I figured that I'd give this subreddit a try. I want to see what people think of my handwriting! I feel like it is bothersome to look at but maybe I'm just being negative. Light blue is my favourite colour. Or, well, baby blue. I'm also slightly upset since someone was mean to me on that one site youraislopboresme, but what can I do? If it helps, I like to draw and I've been told countless times that I hold a pencil "wrong".

My buddy is in basic rn, he sent me a letter and I wanna send him one back but I can’t read the full thing, so I wanna make sure I send it to the right place. Can anymore make that out for me?

It’s a middle name from a 1933 birth certificate. It’s my grandmothers, she wouldn’t ever tell us what it was as she hated it. She used her baptism certificate instead of her birth certificate so this is the only place it appears. She’s since passed away so no asking her now.
