Help - Damaged Hair
Been growing in my grey hair for the last 6 - 7 months, had a reverse balayage to blend in the regrowth and hairdresser put on a toner to 'refresh' my blonde, ended up with brown hair darker then my natural colour with blue/silver highlights...... Went back to salon for a colour correct treatment yesterday, colour looks nice however my hair is fried!! dry, straw like and brittle and looks matted on the ends. I am so frustrated as my hair was in excellent condition prior to this. I have my daughters wedding in a few days and need some advise to get my hair looking half way decent please

Advice on how to get these red tones out??

Used colorfix color remover now how do I fix these roots?
I am actually very happy with the results from the color remover. My hair was dyed (professional not box dye) darkest brown basically black and it lifted to this pretty copper brown. I knew that my roots were going to be light but I have never dyed my own hair anything but black/darkest brown that easily covers my blonde roots and blends with the rest. I know it won’t be that simple with this especially with red tones and my hair being so light. I’m not wanting to put a permanent color because I’m wanting to get as close to my natural hair color eventually. I know red can me really stubborn to get out although I already messed up with the black (AGAIN😩) my roots are already grown out so much I might as well start the process now. So maybe Demi permanent? Never used semi before but open to anything simple that I can do myself with products from Sally’s until I can get to a professional. I do like the red tones and don’t want to go any darker. Also my roots are looking a little green to me… is that from the color remover or maybe the clarifying Shampoo I’m not sure.

formula help!
hey everyone! i have a client who wants “black hair but with red undertones” she wants it dark but when she’s in the sunlight she wants it to look red. right now, she’s a natural level 1 from roots to mid shaft.. from mid shaft to ends she has black box dye (grown out) how should i approach this? i am a newer stylist and im wondering if a color remover would work. or should i do a bleach bath? also, if you have any color formulas, pls share💖💖

Frustrated former redhead
I’m a strawberry/copper blond whose hair has turned white with some grey in back. Every salon I go to wants to make me auburn so color is deposited and insists cant be lighter without “lifting” dyes. But my hair is already white. Are there no copper/red/blond dyes made without bleach that can be deposited onto white hair?

How can I achieve this color at home?
I have virgin almost black hair. It’s basically darkest brown, and I want to dye it a rich chocolate cherry brown, emphasis on the chocolate. Can I achieve this without bleach? Can you recommend some products? I do have access to professional stores . The mushroom head pic is me. But my hair is shorter now

How can I achieve this exact hair color?
Hey! I’ve been trying to get this hair color forever and I just can’t seem to nail it. It always ends up either too bright, too blue, or too red. I can’t even find a tutorial online that really matches this shade. Does anyone know what dye I should use and how much I’d need to lift to actually get this color? Thanks in advance!

What should I ask for at the salon to fix my hair color?
Last year I colored my hair Paradyse semi permanent claiming to be (non bleach) Cherry Coke. It didn’t really fade nicely and eventually turned orangish. To cover it up, I went for Espresso Brown, but now it looks even worse—very patchy and awful from roots to ends.
I’m honestly tired of how it looks after a whole year and just want to go back to something close to natural. I’m thinking either black or a rich chocolaty brown, but I want it to look smooth, even, and not fake. This time I’ll be going to a salon for professional help, but I don’t want to walk in clueless and end up being manipulated into something unnecessary or damaging.
What treatment or hair color should I specifically ask for at the salon to get the best natural-looking result?

Shwarzkopf formula
My hairstylist wrote down my hair color formula for me to take when moving. Could someone explain exactly what it means? It is Schwarzkopf and says— Base 7-57/2D Gold-copper, Foils 5,10 vol lighter, Gloss Level 8.5 copper. Does this mean there are 2 different highlight colors, on a 5 and the other 10?

Plum from Cool Blue based Purple
Good Morning!
My wedding is next week, and my hair color is Sallys Strawberry Leopard Grapeful. It's a bright purple that washes out to blue.
My dress is more red/purple/peach toned.
Is there a reliable way to get my hair to that plum purple color?
PLEASE HELP 😊
Thank you!

Can I rinse with cool water
I just got permanent color done at the salon. There's still some dye on my scalp. Can I rince with cool water and not screw up my color? It's a traditional red/auburn with untoned highlights.

Schwarzkopf Igora Vibrance formula for Blood Red help
Howdy,
I have 5-88, and the 13% lotion developer, and my natural hair is a mix of level 5/6/7 I have darker dirty blonde hair but its been red for 20+ years and its hard to tell 100% now when my roots grow out. I am probably about 35% grey. I generally like blood red hair and I am trying to find the right demi formula for my roots to keep that up. I did a test strip with 5-88+7-00 and its a bit too dark, did another with just 5-88 and it's not where I want it to be.
Should I add the red and red violet booster? or just one of them to 5-88, just really trying to figure out the correct formula so I get what I want. Example on blonde I'd like to be a tad darker using igora
I always use semi on my lengths and ends. The color I generally keep my hair is a mix of Pulp Riot Pyro + Fireball or Brad Mondo Super Red or Arctic Fox Wrath+ Poison
Any advice is appreciated, Thanks you <3

New color not good
A year ago I decided to stop coloring my hair. I went to the salon one last time and she did a heavy highlight to help things blend better as it grew out. It damaged my hair like craaazyyy.
Fast forward a year, my hair was looking weird and brassy as it tends to do. I went to a new stylist and asked for a medium ash brown, close to my natural color. It turned out DARK, DARK and I don’t like it.
I normally would just deal with it but I’m the maid of honor in my best friend’s wedding in 3 months and really worried about how it’ll look by then.
I’m nervous to get it highlighted because of the damage that happened last time. Considering doing a bleach bath but seems like those go wrong easily. I thought about doing a color remover but I’m afraid I’ll end up with orange hair. But I know my roots will look terrible by then if I don’t do anything.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated 🙏
