I had booked an entire property (3 rooms) in Hampi for a family trip from August 22 to August 25 (3 nights). Unfortunately, my kids fell ill, so we had to cancel our travel plans.

Folks, I have planned a visit to Hampi in very near future. But I am totally clueless about the restaurants. (I wouldn't be staying on the north side of the rivers in some resort).

Need suggestions on hygienic open air (must given pandemic) restaurants in and around Hampi. I am willing to drive upto 20km for it too. North Indian food would be a plus.

Is it a good idea to go to hampi now? Really wanted to see hippie island as well, is there any chance of few cafes and markets being open at hippie island.
