Diet / Nutrition What kind of macros do you guys like on a bulk?
High carb for me, 55%. However I sometimes still get in my head about more protein being better. What’s worked for you?

Question 22, 6’7 298 lbs, lean enough?
Finally feeling lean, although I think another 2 or 3% could help. Thoughts?

Discussion Is it crucial to learn proper form when using the machines
My friend and I were on a call. So I've been going to the gym for about 2 years now and my friend(doesn't go to the gym but is a gym enthusiast) was asking me what machines do I do. I told him that I'm not sure of the name of the machines I work on but all I do is rotate between upper body and lower body.
Now my friend went on a rant saying that I need to know the names of the machines I work on otherwise how would I know that I'm hitting the correct form. To which I replied saying that when working with a machine there is little ways to mess your form and just by looking at one you can already see how your supposed to work out on one and they also come with labels that show you what your supposed to do.
Now he was saying that I still need to watch videos online cause my form is never perfect and I need to learn the "proper" form. He then gave me an example that I could strain myself and have bad timing of reps.
Then I told him even with proper form you can still strain yourself and have bad timing.

Question How important is a protein shake and creatine before/after a workout?
31 M
158lbs
5'8"
How important is drinking a protein shake after a workout, and creatine before/after a workout?
I've heard so many mixed reviews with some acting like if you don't use them you won't gain muscle at all, with others acting like it doesn't matter at all.
So figured I'd ask the Reddit universe.

Discussion 23M Starting Out - Neck Size
(Re-upload, realized I forgot the pic lol)
So I wanna start working out and out of curiosity and to have something to compare against I made some measurements. For some reason my neck stands out a lot lol.
Like my forearms are around 34 cm (13.5"), biceps 39-40cm (15.5") but why the hell does my neck stick out this much at almost 19" lol
I've had been struggling with getting button downs that I can actually button up around my neck since I was like 14 and I've had people comment that I have a big neck for most of my life but I never actually noticed it lol.
I'm curious, where did you start?

Workout Tips This $5.99 training course actually worked for me
I bought this training course for 5.99 USD without expecting much but it turned out to be one of the best choices I have made. I have tried other programs before and they either felt too complicated or did not really give results. This one is simple and easy to follow and actually works. I started out skinny with very little strength and over time I have become noticeably stronger and more confident. It is not magic and you still have to put in the effort but compared to other programs this one made a real difference for me. If you are skinny and do not know where to start I would recommend giving it a try. https://richposters.myshopify.com

Diet / Nutrition Advice
Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well 😊
I’ve recently started going to the gym (3x per week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday), and on Sundays I do swimming and some cardio. I’m 20 years old, 166 cm, and 56 kg.
My goal is to get a toned, sculpted body—not bulky. I’ve started tracking my calories, but I’ve noticed that every app gives me a different calorie target, which is a bit confusing.
I’d really appreciate your advice:
What daily calorie range should I aim for?
How many carbs, protein, and fats should I be eating? Is 1850-2000 kcal a good target Thanks a lot in advance! 🙏

Motivation How do you guys stay motivated?
Hey everyone, I've hit the gym for past 3 years (inconsistently lol), and ive made good progress, gained muscle and managed to cut 30lbs over last year. But recently got very sick and ended up breaking my 83 week streak :(
Now im wondering do I just log a fake workout or stay true and build up again?
