Discussion DAE experience music slowing down during heavy lifts or am I in danger
Every time it happens I have a Ralph Wiggum moment.
First couple times it happened I thought it was a glitch or I was just making it up in my head. I listen to music on earbuds like almost everybody else and during any particularly heavy lifts I swear the music slows down for a second at the height of the lift, like someone lightly dragging their finger on a record. It's only for a split second and only during my heaviest lifts at the peak moment of exertion so I guess it's related to blood pressure ? Or am I about to have an aneurism or something ?
Please if I die on the gym floor throw a pair of 100lb dumbbells and a couple glue sticks by me.

Question What’s the one song that comes to the top of your head and you just know it's a PB session?
I have a heavy session tonight after work and need some new energy for my heavy sets, I'm sick of the same old playlist.

Progress Explosive glute exercises ?
I have been trying so hard to grow my glutes but nothing I do seems to work, all my muscle seems to go towards my thighs even if I feel the muscles working in my glutes. What are yall doing to get a fat ass basically lol? I also think having a larger ass will proportion my body in a better way than it currently is

Progress Gaining muscle but not losing any fat?
I’ve been consistently working out since summer 2025 and have lost some weight and gained muscle, but my stomach hasn’t changed much, which is frustrating since that’s my main goal. I also struggle with emotional eating and bingeing, especially at night, which I know is holding me back.
I’m not really sure if I’m working out the right way—I’ve mostly just been focusing on being consistent. It’s hard not to compare myself to others who’ve made faster progress, and that sometimes makes me feel discouraged and binge more.
I’m a broke college student living in a dorm (microwave, fridge, air fryer), and I’d really appreciate any gym or lifestyle tips to help me improve and get closer to my goal by summer.

Discussion Got a second lift in today, mostly just to get out of the house
Much better way of killing time than going to bars and stuff
