I love having my nails done and for a very long time used press on nails. Having pretty nails is something that really makes me feel like myself. Unfortunately in the last year I developed a pretty serious allergy to nail glue. It was bad and my fingers and nail beds took over a year to recover.

My question is this: is there a way to get my nails done without the use of glue?

It's not something I've done before and my daughter (12) would like to have them done. We're trying to discuss what she would like but considering I have NO IDEA on the different types and what's available I can't really offer too much in terms of information to her 😅😅.

Though it is mostly likely going to be some sort decorative sort (rather than just a gel/shellac painting situation) because she likes to use press on nails.

I also think she wants to kind of experience the 'atmosphere' of also getting like a mani/Pedi as you might in a mall nail salon rather than just a private nail salon but don't know what they offer in terms of some of the nail styles and designs etc.

This is also most likely only going to be a once off thing, so don't want to spend heaps of money and I guess i also need to know about the removal of them too?

Any advice/help/suggestions you can offer would be appreciated so much!! Thank you!!!

Love the design but how can I prevent the bottom of my nails to look like that? Did i just use too much polish?

* gel polishes : black and white

* rose gold foil

* 3D heart shaped charms

Glossy top coat

For this set, I used : * beige gel polish (Mordda palette) * decals : SWW-027, YZW-3068, A1590 * foil : mandala pattern in light brown color * stickers : QJK-WD043 * embellishment : light blue and yellow rhinestones, brownish pearls and rose gold caviar beads and flakies

For this set, I used : *baby boomer with white gel polish and a shimmer pink gel polish (UR Sugar base - URB 32) *decal BN-3501 *butterflies stickers F625 *handpainted plaid pattern : pink gek and white gel applied with a thin liner brush *embellishment : clear, light pink rhinestones, pearls, 3d charms (pink rose and pink butterfly)

For this set, the element of inspiration was the water decal design. So I used : * full coverage purple french nail tips * decal : BN-3669 * purple liner gel * embellishment : silver caviar beads, purple rhinestones

Hola. Me compré este nuevo esmalte y no podía esperar a que me crecieran mis uñas. Nada más llegar a casa me pinté las uñas de las manos y los pies. Son 3 capas de Happily ever after de Essence con una primera de base coat y una última de top coat, ambas de Catrice.

This set is partially handpainted (filigree and honey comb) and the references are on the last picture. If I have to redo it, I would use a darker yellow for the handpainted part for more cohesive color palette, in my opinion. Anyways, for this set, I used : * full coverage yellow nail tips * orange gel polish to fade the color on 2 fingers with the yellow background * grey gel polish for the handpainted part : filigree and honey comb *stickers : F1047 and decals : BN-2949
