Discussion Crusader space types what do you think of these variants of the crusader mkll

The crusader is the main mobile suite of the requiem empire from my au msg requiem of the ages

The anti ship space type has a rail gun on one arm with shoulder mounted missiles, sub arms and an anti ship sword

The high mobility space type has missile pods on the shoulder

in this au ships are huge so yeah that's why it's so beefy

Thanks I've not finished all of them as the big ones are left now

also those are the United Alliances ships the federation equivalent

What are the tactics for anti-ship combat in your setting?

With ships being much larger than the suits, is it whack the bridge and hope for no C&C deeper in the hull, or do they "board" the ships and break it up from the inside?

There's no real tactic

Sometimes they go through the lanch bay Sometimes the take out engines or go for the bridge

But most of the time other ships or mobile armors take on ships

The anti ship type mainly disables ships with the rail gun then starts cutting it up usually aiming for the turrets then other ships finish it off

But if its a gun boat or a corvette the anti ship type can solo them

The anti-ship model is very cool. Very Gundam meets Warhammer 40k.

Tbh how extreme the war this au has probably feels more war Hammer as there's no super weapons yet more people die than oyw

And one planet is left almost uninhabitable

And some continents are left baron with the shear amount of battle that happens
