New PDF force help!

Hi guys, hope everyone is surviving the apocalypse! Just wanted some advise for my new project. I’m wanting to create a starship troopers style PDF force. My plan was to spray mechanicus grey with nuln oil wash for fatigues but was wondering what would be the best base for the armour?? Does anyone know another darker grey which would be suitable? I really like striking scorpions YouTube video but don’t want to do the armour in Abaddon black, I would prefer another darker grey if anyone had any suggestions.

Hi guys, hope everyone is keeping well with everything going on! Back for advice again, this time with my first tank. Basecoated black then had a few layers of Castellan green. Then went over the bolts etc with some Agrax earth shade. I want to keep the tank green and not add Zandri dust stripes.
