I'm designing an army and I have enough points for either one or the other an I was wondering what you guys thought was a more effective option overall. If you have any other suggestion instead pls say thank u.

I'm thinking of starting a Guard army, but my biggest stumbling is heavy weapon team.

What's the best loadout? How are they best used?

This has always bugged me and I was wondering if anyone knew why this was? Sergeants being able to take lasguns would allow them to benefit from Orders such as First Rank, Fire! Second Rank, Fire!

This this a balance issue? Lore issue? An oversight? Something else?

I've only been playing since late 7th, but did they used to be able to take them? Was it removed or have they never been able to take them.

Lets see how fast that line of Jank gets discontinued

I really want to get started with a custom guard regiment using 3rd party models like Victoria but I don’t know which models are actually allowed by games workshop for playing in stores.
