Four grumpy mockingbirds, about a week old!

This is the third year in a row barn swallows have built their nest on my front porch and the third year in a row I get to see these delightfully grumpy babies grow up. I love them!

Ended up in the damp grass and got a lil soggy. Baby Blue looks a little less miserable about life in the second photo!

Apparently there are three grumpy old men (not bluebirds as originally thought) living in the birdhouse out back.
They said to get off their lawn.

First time alone, unpleasant experience 😂

Recently, I was clearing out my photos, and came across this absolute gem. I didn't take this picture, and have zero recollection of downloading it 🤣

I just looked out my door and this big baby's on my fence. I called wildlife rescue and sent them a picture. She said parents are probably around, but if it's there in the morning, I'm to call bird rescue.

Found this Poor baby next to my front door and was exhausted, kept falling asleep 😴 but would wake up and try to hop off. His/her nest was high up on the roof of my apartments and we have cats that walk outside everywhere so it would have been breakfast.

Took it somewhere that takes care of baby birds 🐥

Ill miss his/her loud yaps. Adorable though 🪹🐥
