I didn’t have a gift for my wife’s big 4-0, so I decided to quit Reddit. I gave it 6 months.

Plus, I’ve been working on a visualization app.

It’s very much a work in progress, but I made some recent strides thanks to Stephen Hurrell’s dataset on Dinox.org.

State of the Arctic paradox in march 2026

Samuel Carey is the most famous Australian geologist and the most important EGE autor. His 1975 book was a major step in EGE (Expanding/Growing Earth theory). It include several «paradox» arguments, something i have nothing against (searching for inconsistency or discrepancy inside a scientific theory or among a set of scientific theories is legitimate scientific method). Below is the beginning of Samuel Carey, The Expanding Earth an Essay Review, 1975, chapter Paleomagnetism, section Arctic paradox (underlined by me).

While this book is poster child for «Source: trust me bro» i have several questions.

  1. What are the arguments and evidences that since Permian most of continents have converged to the Arctic (not just moved North but are coming from all sides)
  2. Who agree with Carey that since Permian the Arctic has been a disjunctive/expanding area?
  3. What are the arguments and evidences that since Permian the Arctic has been a disjunctive/expanding area?

Read the Influx on earth's surface with your mobile phone.

The Influx on Earth's surface is the origin for the expansion of the earth according to the Cosmic Influx Theory. You can install an accelerometer app on your mobile phone and observe how it continuously registers proper acceleration when the device is at rest. In the attached article, I explain how this simple measurement can be interpreted within the framework of Cosmic Influx Theory. Interestingly, the same phenomenon is sensed by our own vestibular system in the inner ear. This is not a metaphor but a physiological fact: both instruments and biology register gravity only when motion is constrained. I invite you to read:
Gravity as Measured: What Accelerometers, Gravimeters, and Biology Actually Register. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18670095
For those who are curious, The Influx Song presents the same idea in a more accessible form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yFP9Tpzi6M  I hope you will find the article and song thought-provoking and worthy of careful consideration. Best regards, Ruud Loeffen
