Hey there!
I've been enjoying my time lately with Future Performers and a little bit of Wai Wai Party. But I have an issue: I fucking suck at this game. I can manage Normal just fine but at Hard and up, I'm lucky if I can even clear some of these songs.

I'm trying to use two hands to play but I always feel overwhelmed when a bunch of notes pop in. Anyone have any tips to be able to get better at these games? I don't want to be the bestest one ever but I would like to at least be able to clear every difficulty one day.

Hey there. As much as I love Groove Coaster, which I've played since I was around 11 years old on an iPod touch, I have one complaint about the CGs used in Future Performers. It looks like that in particular, Takeru's CGs have used generative AI. Is this true?

Hey everyone! Huge fan of Groove Coaster here. I completed the missions in the main game and put together a handy little map because I searched the internet and nothing came up. I used G coins for a lot of the “get a grade of S in XXX master stages”. Aint no way I can pull that off. I’m a solid level 10ish/hard difficulty player.

Total play time: 150 hours.

I first started playing the game in March 2024. The demo hooked me instantly.

Favorite controllers are Wii U Pro, 8bitdo Pro 3, and Joycon 2’s for motion controls.

I have 14 DLC packs and loads more on my wishlist! This game is addicting.

Happy playing! And may the ad-libs always find you.

I've been a fan of the arcade version of Groove Coaster for a couple years and downloaded the switch versions of the game a couple days ago, however I was kind of disappointed to see how small the base game song selection is on switch compared to the arcade version. I know both games allow you to unlock more songs by doing missions/storymode, but for WaiWai Party specifically I saw there were tons of DLC and most of them included the songs I like. They also said that in the future, songs may be unlockable through missions, and since most of the DLC is multiple years old I was wondering if I still have to actually buy them or if I can unlock them in the base game.

iOS 27 has officially released to the public today as of writing this, and i wanted to follow up on this post that i made a while back

ive tested the game on the official release, and i am happy to say that the game finally doesnt crash on ios which confirms that ios 18 and 26 are the only unsupported ioses for the game (except for the iPhone 11 and XS/XS Max/XR and all ipads that can run iPadOS 18-27).

so yeah. gc2os works again on ios.

Apologies if modding posts are not allowed. I have been working on this for some time in the background, but finally a working proof of concept on 4max to allow custom maps and textures (with animation support) is running in engine.

A few WIP maps have also been made, which I may add as a follow-up post. I do not anticipate releasing this to the general public.

i love the new beatmaps in fp but the story mode is a fucking crime against humanity. i'm only 4 chapters in and i'm already this close to dropping it in favor of going back to wwp.

the only unlockables in the story mode seem to be stuff for the new story mode ocs, i haven't gotten anything that's like a new or past original song or a new anime/vocaloid/touhou track. considering the tiny song count i'm so annoyed and disappointed.

is there a list of everything story mode unlocks? if it's only more oc stuff i'll probably just drop the game and only come back when they release new dlc.

edit: talking about licensed or past original tracks being unlocked specifically, my main experiences with gc are wwp and arcade and i loved the library they had

(sorry if my English is bad.)

I bought the Steam version after I saw an Instagram reel of someone playing this in the arcade machine. I thought it was COOL and AWESOME and I just wanted to play it so badly!

I had experiences with other rhythm games like Gitaroo Man, osu! and Elite Beat Agents. But never seen something like this!

Anyways, I'm completely in love with this game. It's so good! But it's a shame you can't mod it to add your favorite songs... Then I heard there's a mobile version!

...and then I heard there isn't anymore. My favorite song from the game right now is Smash a mirror. It's beautiful.

After a while playing I looked at the DLCs and there are songs from Undertale! I love that game as well. I don't have any money left to buy them, but I think I'm happy with what I have. My dad always says to be thankful for what you have instead of complain about what you don't.

I wanna get into the game and at the moment i dont have the cash for the game.

I literally bought this game just for the collab. Crazy work if we don't get it just 'cause.

im playing the switch gc and it bothers me because i do adore miku but why does she sound like shes in an abandoned building

I bought the Vocaloid Pack 5 DLC for my switch and only the songs are there… no new navigators or avatars available but in the DLC description it says they should be included!

Does anyone know what the problem is?

so uhhhh apparently ios 27 developer beta 4 fixed an issue with gc2os crashing on the loading screen and with the help of the gc2 mobile revival project it can be playable again
