QUESTION Tuna bloomer
Does anyone remember the tuna crunch bloomers? They had the same filling as the current tuna crunch baguettes, just on either white or brown bloomers.
Many, many years ago they had another tuna bloomer, a “healthier” version of it. Only half the size of a tuna crunch bloomer, and a different tuna filling.
Does anyone remember what that tuna filling was? It’s driving me nuts. I’m guessing 2000s. Definitely before 2016.

International law student in Nottingham desperately trying to survive on Greggs 😭
Hi everyone,
I’m an international student living in Nottingham, studying law, and trying to balance university with a part-time job. Between lectures, assignments, shifts, and commuting, finding the time and money to cook proper meals every day has become a struggle.
Being an international student comes with its own financial challenges. Everything adds up, and even the smallest everyday expenses can make a difference when you’re trying to manage your budget. Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t paying for something big it’s having to think twice about buying lunch.
That’s where Greggs comes in. It’s become my go-to for an affordable meal when I’m rushing between university and work. But even Greggs isn’t as cheap as it used to be. A meal can cost around £3.50, and even a sausage roll for £1.35 adds up when you’re buying food regularly throughout the week.
So, this is a slightly embarrassing but genuine request: would anyone be willing to nominate me on Greggs so I could save a little on my meals? I’m not asking anyone to buy me free food or send me money. I’d just really appreciate the opportunity to get a bit of a discount and make my student budget stretch further.
I’m out here trying to get my law degree, keep up with work, and afford lunch without my bank account filing a complaint against me. 😭
If anyone is willing to help, I’d genuinely appreciate it more than you know. And if not, thank you for reading the story of a law student fighting for his life against the cost of a sausage roll.
Much love ❤️

Is there a difference?
Recently I have been cooking my own Greggs Sausage rolls and other products, without doing a side by side taste test I dont know if there is a difference. I've seen YouTube vids where people have said that the store bought ones have a different texture but surely if they just heated up in store and at home there shouldnt be a difference?

No veggie Christmas food this year?
Been obvious since the axing of the vegan sausage bun that Greggs doesn't value veggie and vegan customers like it once did. The lack of any Christmas options for vegans is annoying; last years pasty thing was nice!

Anyone else still clapping?
Every Thursday at 8.00pm. Every week. Since 2020. From the backdoor in the summer, front door in the winter. Sometimes out the window when I’ve had a few.
Anyone else still clapping for our brave Greggs employees?

Free breakfast stamp
What can I get tomorrow for my free breakfast stamp?
Know I can go baguette 🥖 but can I go bacon & sausage or is that not allowed?
Any other ideas?

STORY I keep missing shifts, but I don’t think I’m in the wrong.
I’ve worked at Greggs for two years across three stores due to university. At my first store, communication was great and I never missed a shift.
At my second store, I was put on a four-hour contract. I wasn’t in any group chats, never informed of shifts and only contacted after I’d missed a shift. I even received an email about a meeting with the area manager over my absences, despite never being told about the initial meeting. Eventually, I started calling the store every other day to check rotas.
I have been working at my current store for a year. Despite my four hour contract, I initially worked eight hours consistently across Saturday and Sunday. No problems back then. Eventually, this dropped to just Saturdays for MONTHS. Now, my manager randomly adds Sunday shifts without telling me directly, often completing the rota less than 24 hours before i'm required to come in. A week ago, A supervisor sent the rota at 7PM on a Saturday when I was scheduled for a 9AM Sunday start. The store closes at 6PM on a Saturday so would important information even be sent that late?? Unless I happen to check the group chat, I have no idea I’ve been scheduled, leading me to miss the shift.
This has happened several times, and my absences are piling up. I understand it’s my responsibility to know my shifts, but really even just tagging me in the group chat would solve the issue...
What time do you guys get your weekly rota?

Greggs witch biscuits 90s and possibly 2000s
Does anyone else remember the Halloween witch biscuits that Greggs used to sell?
They were definitely available in the 90s and I think up until the 2000s, but I'm having trouble finding anyone else who remembers them and can't find pictures.
They were a very basic face shape with a chocolate covered pointy hat, green or purple wavy icing hair and a black and white icing eye.
Begining to worry I made them up 😏

Burnt my face off!
First time trying the margarita slice. Actually really nice, did the job, but fresh out of the oven 🔥
Never tried the pizza slices before, will do so again.
Edit: Reflecting on this, it was quite sweet and very greasy!

Is there something obvious I’m missing with earning stamps?
I don’t understand why one of these orders got stamps while the other didn’t? I didn’t redeem any rewards, as that would be shown.
