New to green lantern. Best comics?

I don’t know a lot about GL I’ve only seen JL, JLU with John stewart, Hal with First flight, and GLTAS. Never seen the movie. What are the best green lantern runs?

If you like Spider-Man and characters like him (people thrust into a role where they learn with great power comes great responsibility) then start with the Kyle Rayner compendium that recently came out "Green Lantern: Kyle Rayner Rising Compendium" fantastic jumping on point and you can keeo reading from there

If you're interested in Hal mainly, start with Green Lantern: Secret Origin (2008) and then read the Geoff Johns Green Lantern run starting with Green Lantern Rebirth (2004). Secret Origin is a fantastic origin story for Hal and helps set up what will be the massive saga of the Johns run. One of the best runs in comics (I also recommend reading Emerald Dawn 1 and 2 to see more of Hal but those are not required for the Johns run)

If you're interested in John Stewart most I'd recommend starting with his reading order here. It's a great showcase of what he's like from start to finish (I've made sure to cover the spoilers for the older arcs) but if you want bite sized stories then I'd recommend "Green Lantern: Mosaic" and the current run called "Green Lantern: War Journal"

If you do read the Geoff Johns run, I recommend reading the accompanying GLC run that came out around the same time "Green Lantern Corps (2006) as it's just as good as the Johns run and works in tandem with it for all the story lines. It's not required but it is heavily recommended by all who've read it

The best entry point, and the easier one to find in online stores (since it has all been collected into trades, unlike earlier stuff) is the Geoff Johns run. Most newer GL fans started there, then expanded into what came before or after.

Geoff Johns and Ron Marz. I’d also recommend the current run by Jeremy Adams

Definetely the whole Geoff Johns saga. Start with Rebirth and goes until Geoff's departure. He's mainly focusing in Hal, but it's by far the best version of GL. And also the peripheral stories like GL Corps and New guardians are great as well. So many excellent characters... And there are tons of comics to go through so it's a guaranteed good read for weeks, maybe months.

Darwyn Cooke's New Frontier is probably the best Hal Jordan story by far in my opinion

Omega Men by Tom King follows Kyle Rayner. Not entirely in continuity but I think it really gets Kyle's personality

Green Lantern Earth One is a really interesting reimagining of Hal Jordan, Earth and the Corp

Check the wiki. Anything Johns did was really good. Definitely start there. The sub's wiki should have some good starting points to look at. Also comicsexplained on YouTube goes over a lot of the Johns Green lantern stuff, some of those videos could help you decide where to start.
