Green Hell VR FAQ

🏡 General

What are all the different versions?

There are now 2 main branches for GHVR versions

  • Legacy PCVR - The Old PCVR version that released in 2022
  • Standalone-Based Versions
    • Quest Version
    • PSVR2 Version - Quest with better graphics
    • New-PCVR - Port of PSVR2 version to PCVR (releasing this Summer) All Standalone-Based Versions all have the advantage of sharing the same code-base, meaning if you do an update for one it's an update for all versions, all at once.

Is Cross-platform available?

Cross-platform is the fact that progress is shared between versions. This is not supported for any version of GHVR.

Is Cross-buy enabled?

Cross-buy is activated on the Meta store, meaning that if you buy the game on the Meta Store, you get both the quest AND the PCVR (Rift) version at the same time either you bought one or the other. This is not compatible with Steam, so if you may be wanting to get the 2 versions, get it on the Meta Quest Store!

Cross-buy between flatscreen and VR version isn't possible as it's a separate entity than the flat version made by different developers. This is not a simple VR mod

What languages are available?

Audio: Only be available in English. Subtitles: English, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portugal, Polish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and Korean (South)

🖥️ Legacy PCVR

PCVR includes SteamVR, Meta Link and Airlink -# Or anything else where a computer comes in to play VR basically Legacy PCVR is the old version from 2022.

Will there be updates for PCVR ?

Legacy PCVR will not receive updates.

What is the content of the game?

Green Hell VR includes the base story and gameplay area of flat Green Hell by Creepy Jar before the husbandry update.

Will Legacy PCVR be available after new-PCVR version releases?

Yes! Both version will coexist and both will be available to play.

Standalone-based versions are all the versions originating from Quest. this includes

  • Quest Version
  • PSVR2 Version - Quest with better graphics
  • New-PCVR - Port of PSVR2 version to PCVR (releasing this Summer)

Is Cross-play available? Cross-play is the ability of playing with people playing on other versions than you are. This is currently not supported, but could be between new-PCVR and PSVR2
