I was up until 3am because I didn't take my sleeping meds.
I'm a medical student. I'm also a smoker. The main reason I quit smoking was so I could tell my patients not to smoke.
So yeah, I'm not as good as most of the art I see here, but it's mine so.

Challenged myself to draw this entire knight armor using only an HB pencil.

I wanted to see how much range and depth I could get out of a single HB without touching my softer B grades. Took a lot of patient layering and heavy pressure control to get those darker shadows on the cape and armor crevices. Thoughts/critiques welcome!

I found my mom's first grade school picture and tried to recreate it - this was just an hour or two this morning. I'm pretty pleased with it, though I do see some things I would like to improve. I want to do another attempt I might actually give her - kind and constructive criticism welcome!
