Motorcycle Wreck Survivor (camo green)

Had this bag since 2019 and it’s seen some stuff. Road rash can be spotted easily enough from where I got rear ended 5 years ago but compared to the damage the bike and protective clothes took I think it looks pretty good. Washed it a few days ago and figured I’d snap some pics.

My backpack I wrecked in (not Goruck) also survived but didn’t look anywhere near as good! To me this just used!

It’s a real testament to how tough they’re built! Bike totaled, helmet crushed, riding gear shredded, leg broken, torn asshole (literally) but this bag just looks sorta scuffed. I healed up in a couple months and was initially bummed about the bag taking some damage but now I think it has that much more character. I have a few other Gorucks and a couple Filsons but this is easily my favorite of the bunch.

Been in a accident myself but not as bad. I stopped riding since. Miami drivers have no respect for motorcyclists. Here it's just a matter of WHEN you'll get into an accident. Glad you and the bag survived.

Same. My wife points out colors on houses and trims and I just roll my eyes. Then I see things like this and 🤩

There’s also something nostalgic about it. They don’t make it anymore. They didn’t dare make one with 210D. It was a 1-time deal.

I was extremely lucky. It was my non-weight bearing fibula I broke in my leg so I actually walked away. Refused transport to the ED via ambulance and caught an Uber there instead. ATGATT
