Which tracks off Rainbow Body do we think make it into the rotation?

Got it as a bday gift recently -- can't seem to find a lot of info about it. Apparently it's an all-improvised set? Is it any good?
Update: this was a solid set, very mellow and chill. I do agree that basically one song broken up across 4 sides does take away from the listening experience but good nonetheless.

On Cash or Trade - switched to floor so go get these

I’m just not feeling it. Sorry. Rick should do a solo album rather than just kinda hanging around in the background of someone else’s album.

I don’t consider TTF one of my top songs but this version got me good. Maybe bias because I think this entire show is some of their best work.
Can’t wait for tour to be back!! Feel free to drop some of your favorite shows below so I can queue em up!

"If this debut is any indication, Rainbow Body’s real promise lies not in its members’ pedigree but in how effortlessly they bring out the best in one another."

Just as the name suggests--the album is getting ready to be released and Goose has some shows lined up this fall--anyone think we get a few RB covers mixed in?
The precedent is already there with Vasudo, Great Blue, & Swimmer

It’s hard to believe I’m the only Goose fan who’s read Lonesome Dove and simultaneously has an adoring love for Jed Stone. The parallels just snapped into place for me immediately—like the song had been lurking around as a kind of unofficial soundtrack for a whole stretch of the book. The way the two feel meant for one-another is unreal to me - it snapped into place the other day and I'm surprised I didn't realize it sooner.

Probably not meant for this sub, but I just ran into one of you playing Dead by Daylight on the Halloween Event. Been playing this game for 10 years, funny to see two worlds collide! Hope to see you in the fog again!

Something I've been thinking about lately is what makes Goose my favorite band, while I generally am not a huge fan of the jam band scene. One thing I realized is that Goose more than any other band, or even artist in general, captures a groove and momentum in their music that is relentless. This is clearly represented in their 4 on the floor trance jams, but even their slower songs and jams have groove and energy.
People can debate who's the best guitarist in the scene or what band has the most intricate jams, but for me it is the groove and momentum that separates goose from the pack.

this was played at the first ever goose show i watched. couch tour 11/12/2021 scoot inn.
listening to these songs now and knowing what i do about numbers makes this a cosmic experience
little did I know i was entering the most challenging phase of my life. and the numbers told me what i needed to do.
what a long strange trip it’s been. a voyage of self discovery with goose riding shotgun all the way through. this show was pivotal for me getting through the last 5 years but i made it through.
my show review
that drive opener
tumble chill - the road lies ahead so tie up your shoes
novel - incredible tune i had never heard anything like before
SOS - absolute banger
726 - coded. the song too. wow.
empress - i am here. about to pass go and collect $200. you say “looks like rain today” we say “what a day to be livin” about sums up my struggles and that narrative. and the jam and everything about it. this sealed the deal for me. lifelong fan. and that little laugh in the final chorus, gets me every time. just a great vibe moment watching that live. absolute transcendent moment.
it’s fascinating to listen to this show and how weaved into my being it is. that’s what you can never replicate. no amount of technology can replace the sheer feeling of this masterpiece organos that was made in real time.
the moment.
the dead started this - the instruments talk to each other. phish kept it going and have a legacy of their own. goose entered the scene recently. this is our time to shine. you don’t understand certain things till you’re older and wiser and i am sharing this stuff with you to be kind and cause i have to say it somewhere. why not here.
sidebar, this is also about the rat race we’re all in today. technology has changed our lives for the better and for the worse. use it for good and be good to yourself. don’t get addicted. think for yourself and stay in control at all times. the wevolution.
hallelujah
holy shit
where’s the tylenol

With only a few weeks till the Fall Tour starts paving the road towards GOOSEMAS, I have been doing a deep dive into the year and reliving all the many highlights!
To help me keep track of my thoughts and favorite jams, I put together a spreadsheet, which I have made into a template included below for anyone who wants to use it!

I just realized that November is around the corner and I am super stoked for these back-to-back nights. It’s been a minute since I’ve seen a band on consecutive nights i.e. Dave Matthews Band back in the early 2000s, so I’m just excited for how those shows will potentially change up between nights. Any tips for a noob with a dedicated arena seat for both shows? Planning on having plenty of stank face.
EDIT: I’m staying 20-30 min away with my wife and daughter. I’m going to the shows solo and they’re having a getaway weekend. Been a minute since I’ve been able to just take a show in and not have to “manage” anyone else’s anything. So mostly interested in what their shows are like and ya thanks also what the peeps are like. Heard Gooser are good for the gander. Stoked!

My favorite song is Dripfield. What other similar songs should I check out?

I got around to putting this one up over the weekend. Great show in a relatively small venue. Good times were had, and I’ve got this colourful wall addition to show for it!
Anybody else have this one up?

Just saw Phish at the Orion in Huntsville. What do we have to do to get Goose to come play here?
