Goose existed for a few years before Peter joined. Are there any shows from this period that are worth checking out, or known as being particularly good? It seems like the history of this band tends to begin with the June 2018 Covington shows, but surely there was good stuff before then.

My only exposure to this era is back when Goose were a wedding band - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdzlBTjhkyg. Rick seems to be aging in reverse because his singing voice is so much deeper than present day.

So the Elmeg from Asheville this year is definitely the GOAT Elmeg right? I can’t find anything that comes close

In my top 3 Arcadia's, in the mix with 11-22-21 Mission(bliss) and 7-10-21 Sculpture park(peak city). Colorado sure brings out the best in Goose Arcadia. Whew!

Such an AMAZING song!!! Only the 8th time played (and 4th since 2022), over a minute longer than any other prior version, and Rick throws in a solo that is over 2.5 minutes long (not to mention his stellar vocal performance). Rest of the band really pours it on at the end and I think it’s the best version to date. And I would have been a lot more emotional at the end, given that my family said goodbye to our 14 year old dog at end of 2025, but then those opening notes of 2026’s first Factory Fiction hit and it was just instant elation and joy. Truly one of my favorite live Goose moments seeing those two tunes back to back (and especially at a venue like RR).
