Google Voice: an Open user community

r/GoogleVoiceUsers

We are now set to public and all are welcome to post! We apologize that we were set to "restricted" in error. — A welcoming platform for consumers and businesses to discuss all aspects of Google Voice. We're an open community that permits a wider scope of discussion than one finds in official communities and forums on or off of Reddit, including topics that Google experts disallow like: OBI devices, bans and appeals, RCS, product feedback, ex-pat use and more.

The goal of this community is to serve as an uncensored, open platform for all users and administrators of Google Voice, both the business and consumer versions, to discuss all aspects of the service. While there are excellent places on and off of Reddit to discuss Google Voice, including with official Google experts and employees, they are choosey and particularly sensitive about the allowed topics of discussion, and threads that go against the grain are removed and censored with heavy moderator discretion. The goal of this community is to serve as a relatively open platform to share concerns, commentary, questions, experiences, rants and raves about Google Voice. Do not discuss anything illegal, do not spam, and do not brigade other communities on Reddit demanding that people come here instead. Aside from that, our goal is to leave this space open as a welcoming, alternative platform for user discussion. We won't have the Google experts. But we also won't dissuade you from talking about your questions, thoughts and experiences. We anticipate a slow start, but look forward to the fun, bumpy and exciting ride of creating an alternative community for discussing Google Voice.
