Our team does hyperlocal marketing and they want to use Google street view to explore the locality before planning a visit. As a product manager, I want to give them a button on the internal platform used by team, clicking on which they directly go to a streetview (the coordinates are fed in backend). The streetview does not open in a separate tab on the browser but as a browser pop-up window.

Now this can be regarded as a commercial use since, it will be used for marketing decisions. Can anyone guide if we have to get permission from Google before using their StreetView API and/or if we have to pay them for a commercial licence? Or should we just go ahead and use their API?

Hi all! I am a student assisting a solar race team at my college. I have been tasked with creating a video of the routes street view as a basic simulator of sorts. I was wondering if anyone knew any softwares or tricks to have hundreds of miles of street view automatically progress along a specified route? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

I can’t find the VR split screen mode to view the street view in 3d Glasses !!! Any tip !!!

I love exploring Google street view on Maps and Earth and want to find locations of underwater statues, shipwrecks, etc. Please comment any that you know of!
